Clubbing for the first time can make you nervous and for some, you can feel totally clueless on the little tricks that can help you with a smooth, safe and night on the town.

What To DO!

Get Drunk Before You Leave

This may sound strange but yeh town can get really expensive without you even noticing, as most drinks are only five dollars but it can all add up quickly. So I suggest before you go out on the town, have a couple of drinks with some mates so you don't have to buy too many drinks when you go out! BUT DONT DRINK TO MUCH!!! If you are too drunk before you leave they will not let you into the clubs!!!

Organise ride there and home before you are drunk or/and leave

This is a must, the last thing you want is to be cold, drunk and tired and have no way home trust me. It is far better to plan ahead or even have a few backup plans just to be sure.

Be nice, Play nice

The security looks scary but they are there to only do their job so be nice and they will be nice back a "THANK YOU! Have a good night" can go a long way.

Have a very, very, very small handbag to go over your body!

The smaller the better! It needs to fit

- phone

-sanitary items if needed

- money

THAT IS ALL

Place it over your body with the opening facing towards you this way no one can get in and steal your stuff and you can not worry about losing it and party all night long!

Watch your drink get poured!

it is a good idea to watch your drink get pour so you know what exactly is being put in it. This way you never lose track of your drink and it lowers the risk of you not noticing id someone spikes your drink!

Pick up the cards/coupons!

These cards are everywhere use them! Most of the time they will have something saying like $3 shot, this means that you will only need to pay $3 in that club most of the time. You can also score free drink ones. Sometimes they will also be handing out wristbands they are always good to get as most of the time you will be able to pay less for drinks if you have one.

Have hair tie on hand!

It's really good to have a hair tie/elastics/bobbin whatever you call it on hand when you go out, this is because you can get hot very quickly and want to put it up also, you might need it or a friend might to get there hair back if they puke!

Have a sober buddy!

It's really good to have one person in the group who is a bit sober so if they need to look after people they can! Make sure you take it in turns though don't let it always be the same person when you're on the town!

Get on facebook and get on those door lists!

Door list will help you spend less on your night out! Most of them you can get free entry before a certain time being 12:00 am or 10:00 pm for most clubs or reduce the cost for you to get in, it will save you a lot of money!

Take cash, not card!

I suggest when you go clubbing you take a certain amount of cash or only put a certain amount on your card this way you know how much money your drunk ass will spend that night!

What Not To DO!

Put your drink down!

It can get spiked!!! one of the most dangerous things to do when you are having a drink at the clob is to put your dink down, as it then becomes an easy target for it to get spiked.

Don't go Dance with your drink!

It is best to just drink it at the bar most of the time you will spill your drink or it will get knocked on the dance floor!

Sit on the ground!

that floor is nasty trust me you don't want to sit down.

Wear nice shoes!

Like I said that ground is nasty and you will get everything from vomit to drink spilt on them make sure they are enclosed and old!

I suggest black enclosed shoes that are nothing more than $10

Pay no more than five dollars for a drink!

Anything over $10 is considered expensive at a club go to a cheaper one!
