Phones are pretty much our lives. We have everything in them, Like our Names, Birthdays, Address, Credit Card informations, plus more. Dont lie, we literally wake up to our phones, Its a part of our everyday routine. I think what makes us so attched to our phones is the world of social media but that's another conversation. Our phones are a liability then it is a asset because what are we actually benefiting from it in the long run?

Okay, Yes. We can take awesome photo's and make phone calls but is that worth your bill being $100/ month? I might as well get a house phone and a cheap camera from walgreens. But, on a serious note, I found a way for you to save money when it comes to your phone bill and to not even pay a monthly bill at all. Here are a few steps you can take for a simple living.

1. OWN YOUR PHONE

Its important you buy your phone FULL PRICE because then you'll own it. We may think it's cool to get the newest phone that just came out and get trapped in a 2 year contract with these companies that don't care about us. Once you tell them you can't pay for one month it's not like they'll stop the payment, It continues to grow and adds up then the next thing you know you can't afford the bill. Guess what? Your phones off.

I was one of those people that had a 2 year contract phone bill and had no knowlege of what i was getting myself into. My phone bill was about 118$ a month and that was more than my heat bill itself. That's insane!!

Also, don't worry about getting the NEWEST phones right away. You will be fine.

2. WIFI IS EVERYWHERE

You ever notice going into a place that had bad cell service and your bars are low. You can't even text? When that happends you should ask yourself WHAT AM I PAYING FOR? All this money every month and I can't even have decent service everywhere. Just keep in mind Wifi is probably one of your best friends in the whole wide world. It allows you to access everything as if your phone has service. Here's a secret. I had an iphone for a year with no service and was STILL able to make calls, texts access emails and go on social media JUST because of wifi. Ever heard of optimum or Xfinity ? You can use your families accounts if your outside and still have a working phone with NO SERVICE. Lastly, using someones hotspot can give you access if you or somone you know don't have those cable providers. Try using someones hotspot that has Unlimited and not 2GB data because you'll completely use theres out!

I know, too much work right?

3. NO CONTRACTS, PERIOD.

The main question is HOW TO DO THIS WITH NO CONTRACT? also, WHATS THE BEST PHONE PROVIDER? Okay, Yes. I'll have both answers right here.

First things first. We have to see our options. The cheaper Phone providers are Boost Mobile, Metro PCS, T-mobile, Virgin Mobile, US Mobile, Mint Mobile, Hello Mobile and more. (Do your research). Now, all these providers have great (NON CONTRACT) plans for example:

Metro: $30/month for only 2GB so you'll use your DATA in no time! Same goes with other plans. If you see a plan that says 20, 30 or 40/ month for 2,3,4 GB just know your data will be shot so quickly! BUT, you can be OKAY with that if you don't use your phone all the time.

The best ones for Heavy phone users would be a UNLIMITED data for $30/ month or $360/ Year. I bet some of you don't even pay that. Also, it can be even lower. Check out Hello Mobile

They have probably the best i've seen so far. $25/Month for UNLIMITED data and FAST COVERAGE. That's $300 a year. Now that, you can't beat. That's CHEAP. I just put you on.

You can pay the bill in FULL so you won't have to worry about a "Monthly bill" just so you know.
