If you're someone whose interested in...

  • Getting a job that pays ($18/hr and up)
  • Furthering your education
  • Free Housing
  • Moving to another state
  • Meeting new people
  • Discovering new things
  • Changing unhealthy lifestyle choices and re-creating / bettering yourself as a person

Then keep reading. This article just might be exactly what you need.

If your someone who lives day by day not knowing what to expect. no goals, no plans, no job. Just going with the flow everyday. Eventually your gonna realize that your just walking in place. Even though some people actually enjoy wasting their time, that doesn't mean you have to be one of them. Trust me, doing absolutely nothing, does absolutely nothing.

For those who have dreams and goals and plans to attend to, this opportunity gives you that up-close, upfront hands on experience of living your dreams in the now. Not to mention endless inspiration and mentor-ship to help you accomplish and organize your goal and plans.

Some people chose this path in their early high schools years, and some people chose it in their early 20's. Either way it goes, the people who chose this path demanded change. They wanted something DIFFERENT. Something NEW. Something BETTER, and so instead of sitting around and moping about what they want but don't have. They got up and went out to get it.

FINALLY! the pathway that I am so eagerly proud to present to you today is.... (Drum roll please!) ............JOB CORPS!!! A Free residential, education and job training program for young adults ages 16–24.

Basically free college!!!

Paid training is provided for both residential and non-residential students, as well as free....

  • Paid time off
  • Transportation

  • Recreational trips and activities

For those who've never heard of Job Corps, I want you guys to know from my very own personal experience, that being a student here is a definitely a life changing obstacle worth experiencing. I became a student here 5 months after I graduated high school because, I realized that living with my parents wasn't where I wanted to be anymore. This was the only option I had at starting fresh without having to wait months. It was almost instant. I was enrolled into job corps for pharmacy technician classes and moved in as a residential student within 3 weeks of submitting an online application.

I say becoming a student here is a life changing obstacle, because it is. This program was designed to teach you independent living and personal development skills meaning, there are certain rules that you have to follow and things that you can and can not do here, and some people don't like that. They come here for the wrong reasons and they don't take it serious. There for they don't make the cut. On the other hand some people just aren't used to change. For them it could be difficult or maybe even overwhelming to have to adjust to a new environment.

To my understanding attaining the role as a student here at job corps is a privilege and to be able to make it as far as completing the program and receiving your professional license is Amazing, and its proof that you are officially ready to step into the world and show them who's boss. Not to mention you CAN attain a job on the outside while working toward the professional job your in training for, and you can ALSO get up to a $1,200 completion check after you get your trade certificate.

Please understand, if you decide that this program could be something for you to look into and possibly enroll in, don't take it for granted. Make sure that you stick to what you intend to thru n thru. Use this program to your advantage to create a better future for yourself. The goal here is to make something out of nothing. START FRESH. Discover new things about yourself that you didn't know before. Make a new name for yourself, BRING OUT YOUR ALTER EGO. All i'm saying is that, this is an opportunity for you to turn your life around and make it whatever you want. But don't waste your time.
