This can reduce their chances of being promoted to the point of putting their health at risk. To prevent bad days from affecting your career, here are five ways to deal with them:

Don't Focus on Bad Things

The first tip for dealing with a bad day at work is not to focus on things that can trigger your mood or mood to get worse. For example, you are really annoyed with your co-worker, or are annoyed because your boss scolded you. If so, just face it calmly. Don't drag on in the situation, divert your attention to things that can make your mood worse. You can go for a walk, chat with friends, or do other activities. There is a mood booster to make your feelings better

Take a Step

You must be annoyed when you show up late, given a difficult assignment, and get yelled at by your boss on the same day. But don't just mope or frown. Take a concrete action to deal with it. For example, by remembering or thinking about an achievement you have achieved before. With so hopefully the mood can be more calm.

It is recommended that you take the time to write a thank you letter for someone. Or by consuming healthy food rather than fast food. That way, your brain will record it as a win or achievement that can reduce the pain of bad day.

Change the Expectations

Bad days are often motivated by expectations that are too high. For this reason, it's a good idea to start reducing excessive expectations in your career. Then also make a list of three actions that would give you relief if you did them today. Hopefully you can feel a little better.

Change Your Views and Thoughts

When bad things happen to you really can't stand it, try moving from where you are. Look for different views and if possible more beautiful. Also divert your mind by chatting with other co-workers face to face. It is advisable to adjust your breathing a lot to make it more calm.

Be Grateful

In addition to writing down the actions that made you happy, also write down three things that you are grateful for that day. That way, you will realize that life is still beautiful and nothing needs to be regretted. Write your gratitude in a place that can be seen at all times. For example by writing it on a piece of paper then placing it next to the computer.

Learning from the Past

No bad experience wasted. A day that goes wrong can surely be a lesson to solve problems later on. Try writing down the mistakes you had on that bad day. Then figure out what's wrong or causing it to do so. Hopefully, you will be able to find out the symptoms and how to solve something similar in the future.

Realizing that bad days are common

In life, there is no story if it's only good and happy. Surely we will experience bad days, feelings of irritation, sadness, and so on. The only way that is, you have to realize that bad days we have at work are common. Don't drag on in resentment, don't bring the problem into the house. Today there are indeed a lot of problems at work, but believe me, you will get through that bad day.

Evaluate What Happened Today
