How did I start to learn English

I am writing this story because I want to help you. If you lost motivation or have difficulties.

I want to start with a quote by Edmund de Waal “With languages, you can move from one social situation to another. With languages, you are at home anywhere.”

In Russia, the majority of school children can start to learn English with 2 grade. I was a typical student who did not like this language. I thought about why I study. It is so difficult language. I did not know the alphabet and how to count. However, I went to class and started to learn one letter after two, three and so on. I was fascinated by the language.

Now I have a level B1. I am glad. But I want to know better because together with the language, I know the culture of other people.

Of course, I had various difficulties. I lost motivation and did not want to try to move on. My mum and teacher told me "You can, you are purposeful". But I did not believe. I did not believe in myself. But I had been able to get over after I found this quote. This quote could help me to understand my goal ( why I learn). If you know another language, you always keep calm in a different situation.

After I want to start to find different recourses to study English. I tried a lot of apps. Now I am ready to say about these apps. It is not an advertisement. It is only my opinion. Ok, let`s get started.

1.RocketEng

It helps me to learn new words. I should choose a group of words. It can be phrasal verbs or emotions, top 100 verbs and others. This app works without Wi-Fi but consists of a paid part. It is a premium. However, I have not bought a premium. It is enough. You can choose different ways to study. For example, flashcards, spelling, word-translation, translation-word and listening. It is available on the free version.

2.YouTube

In this app, I watch different videos by videobloggers. Now I am writing the top 5.

-TEDx Talks

In this channel you can to watch various videos about everything from motivation to any scientific research. If you do not understand many words, you always switch on subtitles.

-Easy English

Here I am going to learn new words with cartoons.

-ProjectElon- Motivation

In this channel, I gain a number of benefits. It is motivation to study, sometimes I relax under this video.

-The Free Dictionary

Here I am learning phrasal verbs these pictures. It can help to memorize better. I do not forget for a long time.

-Nickelodeon UK

Here I am watching interesting cartoons when I relax.

It is all. But I do various grammar tasks which give me my teacher.

You should understand that you watch videos because you need. You should watch these videos which you will watch in your native language.

Sometimes I also listen to music and dance. I think you are going to agree with me If I said that our brain likes to relax. That's why learning English should be done so that your brain thinks that you relax and love your case. Don't overload yourself. You can start learning with 5 or 10 min a day. Next blog I will write others lifehacks. And also I will try to motivate you to start learning English.

In conclusion, I want to say that only you are an ARTIST, ARCHITECTURE AND TEACHER in your life. Your life is only in your hand. Dispute any difficulties you should move on.
