Swimming is by far one of the most enjoyable activities for the human body. At the pool, however, it's more important how you behave, not how much you swam.

A few hours spent at the pool with a few dear friends will give you a good tone, keep you in shape and help you get rid of stress. We do not take into account the fact that the bronze obtained here is natural, unlike the one obtained at the salon.

In order not to turn into a failure, any visit to the pool must follow, however, some general rules of good manners. You don't have to be like Marie Antoinette at Versailles, but a little common sense doesn't hurt, especially when you ask the same people around you. Here are the most important rules and why you should keep them in mind:

1. Wear a decent swimsuit

In most swimming pools there is no age limit of +18 years, so you can expect to have a few children as sunbeds as neighbors. It's a good reason to leave that bold swimsuit you bought for your last getaway at home and wear one with a more classic cut.

"Decency" means taking into account the others around you, so you can give up looking topless at the pool, even if on a beach this might seem normal. Of course, it is not the case to take a swimsuit worthy of the interwar period, but you will surely find a middle way: a suit that will highlight your shapes, while still keeping a touch of mystery in the eyes of others.

2. Respect those around you

Another important thing to keep in mind is that you are not alone in the pool, even if you came with a large group of friends. Don't listen to music on the speakers when you sunbathe on the sunbed, as it could be annoying to others around you.

Always opt for a pair of headphones or a waterproof mp3 player, such as this walkman created especially for swimmers. You will be able to take your favorite music not only on the sunbed but also in the pool, without disturbing those around you.

Do not leave empty bags, packaging, or bottles around your sunbed. A gust of wind is enough for this garbage to reach one of the neighbors who is tanning with you.

3. Do not practice for the Olympics

Do you love to swim and can't wait to visit this pool to practice your butterfly style? As in the case of splashing, you will have to take into account those around you when you swim. They are not obliged to step aside from your path, even if you have embarked on a 200-meter time trial.

If you want to follow the rules of good manners even at the pool, swim then and where you can and do not expect to make room for you. Always be aware that other people would like to swim and be careful not to cross paths with them. As unlikely as it may seem, accidents can happen in a swimming pool.

4. Do not make waves at the pool

A visit to the pool, especially on hot days, can reveal the child inside you: you like to splash around, splash around with water, practice jumping in the water and take pictures while you throw your hair. on his back, coming out of the water like Aphrodite from the sea.

Pool agitation and waterlogging are safe ways to attract the attention of others, but they will not always have a favorable reaction. Especially since, in turn, you wouldn't like to be bullied by a child who jumped like a bomb in the pool, right next to your sunbed.

Keep all the play for those moments when the pool is more empty and do it in the middle of it, so as not to inadvertently splash those who are sitting in the sun on the edge.

5. Feel comfortable

A swimming pool, even if it is outdoors, is still a limited space, and people are much more attentive to details here than on a beach by the sea. More important than anything is to feel good about yourself, even if you expose yourself here more than in everyday life.

Take a shower before, and after you get out of the pool, don't forget your slippers at home and come prepared with at least one big towel, because it's not a good idea to spread water everywhere. You will put it on the deck chair and it will be useful for you in the shower.

Of course, other common-sense rules - such as not making noise, not drinking too much alcohol, or following the rules of the pool - are self-evident. You are there to feel good and get the tan you want before you go on a seaside vacation, which you have been waiting for for a year.

In the end, the most important thing when it comes to good manners at the pool is to consider other people who have come, like you, to cool off, sunbathe, or just spend a few Have fun with your loved ones.

What bothered you the last time you went to a pool and what other unwritten rules should be applied, right?
