Studies show that leadership development is cultivated by having ethical family values. Having good family values can imbibe those values in young kids who then grow up to become great leaders. Moral family values help a person to choose what is right and leave aside what is wrong.

Further, good quality education helps in developing vast knowledge in a person and also focusses on leadership development. A person who has a good education can undoubtedly become a good leader in his life. He would undoubtedly impart the knowledge which he earned from his childhood days, into translating it into success in the work or job allocated to him.

Courage makes a person take bold action and steep steps to attain success in whatever he wants to do in life. For effective leaders, courage is essential. Courage gives them strength and helps develop a sense of responsibility. Courage gives them the inner belief to march ahead in their quest for achievement in their respective assigned job.

A good leader can easily be judged by noting down the feedback from his or her team members about his or her qualities and trends of leadership style.

2. Goal Achievement: A good leader is focussed on getting his targets reached and plans in precise manner upon the path to reach the destination. He or she is clear-headed in setting realistic goals and achieving them. A good leader always finds ways to optimize and to find ways to innovate.

3. Nurturing Talent: A good leader has an eye for identifying new talents and also to nurture them and polishing them for the success of the company or business. He or she guards them, instils in them faith and confidence, and appreciates them on their achievements. He or she also makes them understand if any shortcomings are identified and rectified.

4. Adaptability: Effective leadership development is about agility. A good leader always adapts to changing situations and scenarios. He or she always stays a step ahead, and proactively plans his or her moves as per the changes going on around the ever expanding business world.

Thus, we see that a robust, efficient, and effective leadership is essential to the success of an individual as a leader and the company as well. For businesses to succeed, the efficient leadership development programs are essential.
