A study analyzed 87 apps from all fields and through various tweets discovered which were the most hated apps on the planet

Some apps are more frustrating than helpful

The consulting firm Electronics Hub conducted a research to find out which were the most hated apps in the world. The study analyzed 87 apps from all fields and came to the conclusion that the most hated apps globally correspond to the fields of dating, cryptocurrencies and social networks. The most hated app in the world is Hinge, a dating platform. The second place goes to Tinder as the most disliked app. The social network Reddit ranks third among the most hated apps. The fourth and fifth positions in this negative ranking go to Disney+ and Snapchat respectively.

The most hated app in most countries is Roblox, a platform dedicated to video games.

Electronics Hub analyzed more than three million geotagged tweets related to 87 apps from various categories. The HuggingFace Sentiment Analysis tool was then used to find out the sentiment expressed by each tweet, which could be positive, negative or neutral. To identify the most hated apps, negative sentiment was taken into account.

Apps that generate frustration

Not all apps generate satisfaction

Research conducted by Electronics Hub concluded that the most hated apps are dating, cryptocurrency, and social networking platforms. Users complain about the poor performance of these apps, but the questions also point to wasted time, frustration and major disappointments.

Dating apps are the most hated apps in the world, both for men and women. Users have a hard time finding what they are looking for in an individual, they lie a lot and finally they don't find anyone who responds to their desires.

Cryptocurrency apps rank second among the most hated platforms. Cryptocurrencies require learning a new language about money. As cryptocurrencies are fairly new to society, people are having a hard time assimilating the new paradigm they represent.

Social networking apps rank third among the most hated platforms. Users complain that these apps have various flaws that prevent them from being used smoothly. People expect the best from social networks, as they are used for personal relationships, work, business and many other purposes. When social networks malfunction, the disappointment is very big.

Tinder is the most hated app in America

Tinder is not safe for women

The most hated app in the United States is Tinder, the world's most popular dating platform. Throughout its existence, Tinder has faced several controversies questioning its effectiveness. The dating app has 70% male users and 30% female users. Most complain that the platform is too superficial as aesthetic appearance prevails. When two individuals finally connect it is difficult for them to reach an agreement. Generally men and women want different things.

Many women feel that Tinder is dangerous and unsafe for them. Thay are aware of how risky it is to contact unknown men. They refrain from joining Tinder and that is why the percentage of women on that platform is so low.

Tinder is hated in other countries such as Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The reasons are the same: frustration in finding the desired love match. Despite its bad reputation, Tinder is still the most popular dating app globally. People don't give up hope of finding the perfect match, even if they try again and again without positive results.

Before becoming a member of Tinder, both men and women should know that the failure rate on the app is very high. That means that most of them will not find the kind of relationship they are looking for. While there are some exceptions, users do not reach the goal of feeling fulfilled in their love life. For all these reasons, it is logical that Tinder is the most hated app in the United States.
