Tipping is the way of the world as we tip those who we believe have given us excellent service in many venues. Vocal has the option to tip other creators and if you have never done so, please reconsider. Perhap you may be waiting to give a worthy writer a large tip and feel that giving $1. 00 to a Vocal creator is not much. The truth is that the one dollar has a lot of future potential especially if everyone participates. You might be a writer who has received a few $1.00 tips and considered them as someone being cheap and giving the least amount. When you really process this you will find that there is so much more within each $1.00 donation.

Every single dollar reflects that an individual took the time to read the story you wrote and thought enough to leave a monetary reward. It takes the same time and effort to give the one dollar as it does to express kindness with $5.00 or more. I am going to assume that like myself, most Vocal creators do not have on hand the type of money they would like to give as a tip. I lnow I personally would love the be the one who can part with $100 for a great story but I have not yet arrived at that level. In the meantime, I will do what I can and it all starts with the power on one.

Giving that $1.00 to various articles as opposed to giving a large amount to one story is a way to spread the money around. If you can, however, afford to be a big tipper for every story you enjoy then by all means go for it. I once gave $1.00 each to 10 different creators as opposed to giving the $10.00 to just one. On that day my desire was to let 10 people know I read and enjoyed their article and thought enough to give financially. If all of us creators were able to give at least the $1.00 to every story we enjoy and pay it forward, this would be a wonderful way to motivate the writers on this platform.

If as our own number of tips began to grow, we gave back into the community this would really be a blessing to other writers and encourage them to continue bringing forth their stories. Consider that if 100 people like what you have written and they each tip you $1.00 then you will receive $100. Over a period of time, those dollars will add up. I am going to begin budgeting $1.00 a week to give to a creator whose who I enjoy. I would like over time to increase this to $1.00 day which would be $30 a month. I could give one writer $30.00 for a story I enjoy but I would rather reach more people. Spreading the $1.00 around will encourage Vocal writers to continue bringing forth great stories.

I hope from this point you will no longer see a $1.00 tip as someone being cheap because they do not have to give you any money at all. Decades ago there was a method people used to make money that the Post Office deemed as a scam. Someone would send you a list of names and you would give each person $1.00. You removed the bottom name and were to resend the letter to others with your name in the top spot. This was supposed to be away to have cash flowing in and although it was illegal the principle does work.

If every Vocal creator reached out by giving at least $1.00 to the stories they enjoy then we all would be benefitting each other. We would be supporting other writers by reading their work and also by tipping them. Think of Vocal Plus and the way it works with creators paying each month and the platform giving back in the form of challenges and other benefits. When we see each other as a community and look out for one another then we all benefit. The purpose of this article is to motivate those who don't believe tipping $1.00 is worth it. I hope from this point on you will view it differently and I wish the same for creators who may have shunned receiving only $1.00 as a tip. As always if you enjoyed this article, please show some love because I enjoy seeing the $1.oo tips come in.
