1. Research

In Social Media Marketing you have to find clients someway somehow. Assuming you found your niche already you need to find those clients who are in your niche.

There are many ways of doing this you could use Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook, yelp, craigslist, etc. Let’s assume your niche is E-Commerce clients and your sub-niche is clothing brands, one site that’s recommended you use to find a lead is a site called myip.ms. This site makes it easy to find E-Commerce leads, once on the site click on websites and then click on the world websites database. From there click on IP Owner/Parent IP Owner/Hosting and scroll through until you find Shopify.

Shopify is the one that hosts almost every E-Commerce site around so when you’re on here you have thousands of different businesses you could reach out to and contact about your services.

For other Social Media Marketing niches, you may need to use other software to find potential clients for your Agency. So let’s use the Real Estate niche for example you will most likely need to use some other platform to find those leads. For example, craigslist is a really good option, if you might want to have more of an advanced approach then one site that’s recommended you use is D7 Lead Finder. D7 is good at finding the owner’s information and contact details, especially for Real Estate clients. Take advantage of what you have and find leads for your Social Media Marketing Agency.

2. Outreach

After you have done your research and found your target client in your niche then now it is time to outreach. There are different ways you can go about outreaching to your clients, you can do it through Calling, Emailing, Messaging, or in person. There are many different ways to go about outreaching but the thing is you need to first be known by your potential client and the only way to be known is by putting yourself out there.

There are two main ways Social Media Marketing Agency Owners outreach to clients, they either do Cold Calling or Cold Email. For whatever niche you’re in one might get you more results than the other.

For example, E-Commerce is online businesses so it makes sense to Email them and with Real Estate not online then you would outreach by Cold Calling. So be sure you can outreach to these businesses so your Agency is known.

3. Social Proof

After you have reached out and told the businesses about what you do with your Agency then now they might want to see some results from who you have done work for in the past.

This is where social proof comes in, Social proof is the idea that consumers will adapt their behavior according to what other people are doing. It makes sense, right? When we see a line of customers waiting to eat at a restaurant or a photo of a celebrity drinking a certain brand of coffee, it lends an air of gravitas and quality to the product, doesn’t it?

To put it simple Social Proof is you providing them with evidence that if your service(s) did this for someone else then how can it help them. It tells your potential clients that you are credible about what you’re doing. So be sure to send them proof of either a result or send them a video of yourself showing step by step how everything works.

4. Schedule A Meeting

After you have either sent them something of value whether that be past results or an explanation video on how things work, it’s now time to schedule a time to talk to them.

This is to see where things could go and to see if they are the right fit for you to even work with you. This would then prevent confusion between you and your prospect.

5. Meeting Call

Now after you have scheduled a meeting you have now made it to discuss everything with them. This happens before you decide to close them on a deal. At this point they know you, they kinda trust you, but they probably don’t like you yet. So how are you going to get them to like you then?

Well, you get them to like you by helping them solve their problem, and the only way to know their problem is by asking questions. Once you’re able to solve their problem then you’re on your way to a closed deal.

here’s a basic structure of a meeting:

Small Talk (3–5 mins)

Ex: “Hey how’s your day going?”

Personal Questions (15–20 mins)

Ex: “How did your family react when you showed them your results?”

Business Questions (15–20 mins)

Ex: “What’s your current monthly revenue?”

Plan (5–10 mins)

Ex: “So I see a big problem with X so what I can do is work on the Y and get you to Z.”

Close (3–5 mins)

Ex: “We can get started today but our service to get you XYZ results is going to be $3,000 per month. I’ll send you the contract and invoice.”

6. High-Quality Close

Once they know you, like you, and trust you to get them the results they need for their business then now it’s time put a stamp on it. Close the deal and get your clients the results they desire for your service. Provide them with the results they been waiting for and give them a world-class experience.

Make them crave to work with you again and again. Give them a reason why they should always work with you and if you’re really good then ask for a review.

Well, what’s next?

Well keep going through the cycle wash, rinse and repeat. Do all of these steps over and over again day by day and you will be on your way to closing high ticket clients for your Social Media Marketing Agency.
