As a full-time stay at home mom, I've always had the dream of being able to work from home and make money while doing something I love. But how do you go about doing that? It wasn't until I discovered blogging that things really started coming together for me. Now, after just eight months of working with my website, I've earned over $15k this year alone! In this guide for solo moms who want to start earning an income from their blog or website, we'll talk about how you can get started with blogging in your free time.

Step 1: Create Your Blog And Choose Your Niche

  • Choose Your Niche

You can only make money when you have an audience. So, the first step is to choose a niche that you are passionate about, not too broad and not too narrow. For example, if you love baking cakes but want to start a blog about baking various types of cakes like fruit cakes or cupcakes, then your niche is too narrow. In contrast, if you love baking all kinds of cakes (including fruit cakes), then your niche is too broad. On the other hand, if you have experience in teaching people how to bake different types of cakes at home with easy recipes and pictures as well as videos on YouTube like me; then this could be your perfect blogging topic!

Remember: The key here is finding something that interests YOU so much that even though it may seem boring at first glance because there aren't many people looking for information on something specific as opposed say scrapbooking (which has millions of followers worldwide) does not mean it isn't worth pursuing because there will always be people out there who need help in their particular field!

Step 2: Write At Least 5 Articles in Your First Week

Writing 5 articles in your first week is a great goal to set. This means you'll have to write an article every day, but if you're going to spend 8 hours a day in front of your computer anyway, it's not really an extra chore.

You want to make sure that you are writing about topics that you know something about and care about. The more passionate and knowledgeable you are about the topic of your article the easier it will be for someone else who reads your content to connect with it. You also want to write in a way that makes people want to read what comes next! If there is no connection between paragraphs or sentences then readers will get frustrated quickly and move on without reading anything else from this author again (and rightfully so).

So how do we create engaging content? It all comes down two things: 1) Crafting Interesting Titles 2) Creating Engaging Headlines

Step 3. Get Social Media Savvy

Social media is a powerful tool. It's how you will grow your blog, make money, connect with other people in the industry and promote your business.

It all starts with getting a Facebook page for yourself and learning how to use it as an effective marketing tool. This includes posting content every day on your personal page that is relevant to what you are blogging about and also sharing links from other websites (if they are relevant too). You can also create groups where members of the same niche hang out together talking about shared interests - this way you can join conversations happening around the web in real time!

It's really important that when someone shares one of your posts or comments on one that they see themselves as part of something bigger than themselves - a community - so try to find ways that everyone feels like they belong here without being asked directly about why this group exists at all times."

Step 4: Grow Your Email List

Email marketing is an essential part of any online business. It's the way that you can connect with your customers on a deeper level, and it's how you can build a real relationship with them.

When people sign up for your email list, they are agreeing to get information from you in addition to any promotions and sales that come along with being your subscriber. This lets them know that they can trust you because they know what they're signing up for!

  • How to Grow Your Email List

There are many different ways that people grow their email lists, but here are a few best practices:

  • Give away free stuff! People love getting things for free, so why not give away something valuable? If someone gives their information in exchange for something valuable like an eBook or webinar registration then chances are good that person will stay subscribed long enough for it to be worth it (especially if there's no signup fee involved). The more valuable the freebie is perceived by potential subscribers, the more likely they'll stick around after receiving it as well. Find out which topics interest them most and create content based on those topics with strategic calls-to-action throughout each piece so readers know exactly where they should go next whenever possible!*How To Use Your Email List To Make Money

Step 5: Make Money From Blogging!

  • Make Money From Blogging!

This is the final step to becoming a single solo income mom, and it's one of the easiest ways to make money from home. You can make money from blogging in a variety of ways:

  • Ads - If you have an ad-supported website, then ads will be shown on your site in order to generate revenue for you. The advertiser pays the company who hosts your blog for clicks or views on their advertisement(s), and you earn a percentage of this amount for each view/click generated by their advertisements on your site.
  • Affiliate links - This means that every time someone purchases something through one of your affiliate links (like this one!), you get paid some commission based on whatever percentage they pay out in commissions (usually 5%-20%). For example: If I purchase something using this link here, then Single Solo Income Mom will get paid 10% commission! Check out our affiliate program here!
  • Products - Do you have something original like an ebook? Or do you just want people interested enough in what they read about that they'll want more information? Create products based off what others want most about what it is that YOU know well already so there's no guesswork involved; just create content focused only around certain things people need help with most often so those are topics which may require more than just one post while still keeping things simple enough where people can find answers quickly when searching online later down the road if needed too much detail isn't provided initially."

How to Make Money Blogging as a Full-Time Stay at Home Mom

If you're new to blogging and wondering if it's a feasible way to make money as a full-time stay at home mom, let me be the first to tell you: YES. As in, this is totally possible. But I want to be honest with you about what that means.

In order for me to earn $15k from my blog in 8 months - and do so working from home as a full-time stay at home mom - I had better get out there and hustle every single day. There are no shortcuts or easy ways around it; this is good old fashioned hard work! I have no illusions that anyone will make money blogging just because they decide to start writing about something they love online one day (or even two days later). If anything, starting a blog will only give those who are truly committed an opportunity and outlet for their passion that they may not otherwise have had access too otherwise; but remember: YOU still have to do all the hard work involved in making your passion into an actual profitable business venture…

Conclusion

Blogging is one of the most lucrative ways to make money online. It's also a great way to make sure that your writing skills are sharp, while making money at the same time! But if you want to be successful in this industry, you'll need more than just a passion for writing; there are steps that anyone can take towards making their blog profitable.
