The journeyman exam lasts about 3 hours. The HVAC testing for journeymen consists of 60 questions.

As for the Masters' exam, it lasts up to 2.5 hours. The questions are 70.

Renew your HVAC license in Kentucky

Your Kentucky HVAC license is eligible for a year by your birth month. That means that if you were born in September you need to renew your license by September 31. And even if you got your license in August, you’ll need to renew it in September.

The renewal process is as easy as possible. You only need to go through two main steps; finish the online courses and fill in the application form.
