  • In the services window, right-click on QBPOS Database Manager Service.
  • If there is no restart option, choose the start button.

Solution 2: Make a windows user account

To make this solution work, the user has to make a new account that has administrator rights. Here is how you can make such an account:

  • Go to start, and type User Accounts in the search bar.
  • Press enter and click the Manage user accounts option.
  • This will provide you with the option of Manage another account.
  • Select create a new account, rename it as Test (or any other name).
  • The last step is to select administrator as the USER TYPE.
  • Finally, long off the windows account.
