Jobs, Where art thou?

Our economy has severely been impacted by the Corona Virus outbreak. Many people have received a letter that there jobs are no longer standing which is heartbreaking. Our government has spoken we will not be extended the extra $600 a week for the unemployed from July to January as what was proposed and no pending work of universal basic income. I understand jobs in the market may fall short but there is temp and on-demand work if anyone is interested which you can choose your own hours. The though of the fact that many workers will have no alternatives is really quite sad so I made it my mission to hunt down ways of finding employment in these troubling times. Please Help me support my page so I can continue to learn more way to keep helping those in need. Depending on the app(s) you choose W-2 or 1099 status may vary some employers may even offer both. Not to worry its not just gonna be Uber and Lyft. Which don't get me wrong are great apps but not everyone likes driving people around place to place or trust strangers to sit in their cars which is completely understandable.

Through much searching I found some apps that might help if your looking for work:

Bluecrew hires workers as W-2 employees so no nasty tax bill at the end of the year. You can choose which shifts you like to work for the company offering the pay that you want there is no minimum requirement. Some jobs may pay $10.00 per hour however I've seen quite a few in my area that pay about $18 per hour then offer 8 hours shifts.

Wonolo (short for work now locally) is an app were similar to Bluecrew, however depending on the company of the shift you choose it can be either W-2 worker or Independent contractor (1099).

Shiftsmart maybe a higher paying alternative it usually pay $15 per hour and offer 4-8 hour shifts. Shiftsmart currently only offer employment for independent contractors. Usually Shiftsmart is for Non Profits so If your job compensates you for volunteer hours this is a little extra or if you volunteer already why not make some cash for your effort.

Instacart offer two types of employment being a Full Service Delivery Driver where you will shop and/or pick up groceries for other people you choose the orders you want and can see the distance, amount of items and payment for the job before selecting. The other offer of being an In-Store Shopper is to be a W-2 employee of Instacart where if you don't like driving you can choose your own hours for a specific location and choose your own hours the only down this is your need to hit a certain amount of hours yet you can't do 40 hours perfect for side income or students.

Due to restaurants staying open and people are reluctant to head out to get their food order however, that's where you come in you can pick up there food and deliver it for them and make cash with some decent tip money on the side. Sound good? You will love this app orders are never too far off where your located.

Adia is amazing company choose the shifts you like; work on demand as a W-2 Employee with benefits like paid time off absolutely a great work platform. From Server to Host/Hostess to event staffer Adia will find you work.

Use referral code 0n1u0 during Sign Up! Like being a mystery shopper or critic this maybe the type of work your looking for. I wish the best of luck to all of the people and their families that are in need. I hope these apps may easy the tension and burden the pandemic has placed on you lives.
