So, the first thing we are going to do is talk about sales funnels. A sales funnel is an online sequence that takes potential customers(web traffic) through a sales sequence of simple web pages. In English, it basically means that it will take your potential customer on a journey(whether they realize it or not)through to purchase whether it's an idea, product, or service. It's super helpful for the business owner because it helps them understand what their customer is thinking and doing throughout this journey process. This information alone will allow you to invest your time and energy wisely into the appropriate marketing channels, provide the pertinent information needed to give to the buyer, and turn more of your prospects into paying customers. Wasted time doesn't pay the bills.

The very first thing you do in the sales process is take your organic traffic from your social media platforms(YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, etc). and send them over via a link to a lead capture page. There, the prospect will be 'opting-in' and providing their name and email address because they have an interest in wanting to know more about the product/service you are representing. This also means they are giving you permission to speak with them. This is the top or beginning of the sales funnel.

The 2nd part of the sales funnel is the sales process. This is how your potential customers turn into prospects because once they are aware of your brand, they are going to assess it based on the interest they have in it. This is the point where your customer will initiate more research to see if your product/service is the best solution for their problem.

The 3rd part of the sales funnel is the order/upsell which turns your prospects into customers. This is where they will make a decision to purchase your product/service.

The 4th part of the sales funnel is the ascend where you turn your customers into clients. And even if they don't become a client right away, there are tools that will help you stay at the top of their mind by using things such as autoresponders or nurture campaigns to pull them back in. Remember, it usually takes someone about seven to 10 visits to a website before they make a buying decision.

Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to make money online because they are taking care of the product, customer service support, etc. All you have to do is provide the link with your code through the sales funnels and if a potential customer clicks on the link and buys the product/service, then you are going to make a percentage directly from the sale(s)and receive a commission(s). Many of the companies you are an affiliate for will also provide capture pages(basically some data from your visitors like their name and email address)so that way you can market to them in the future the same product/service or something very similar. Your ultimate goal here as an affiliate marketer working from home is to drive traffic to those lead capture pages to get them interested in going through the sales funnel.

Email list

The key here is to build your email list because that's where your money is. Getting this information from your capture pages builds that list so that way you can continue to talk to these people and keep them as continual clients for years to come. This can eventually build you a residual income.

There are many sites out there that offer affiliate programs. There's Clickbank, Rakuten, Veefly, Amazon Associates, and the list goes on. Find out what your niche is and go from there whether it's teaching folks how to make money, health and wellness, or assisting writers to become published authors. Once you've signed up, then you can start submitting ads not only on your social media but to free places like Herculist which will help you target your customers into prospects.
