We are solidly in the era of entrepreneurship, and the business world is growing at a rapid pace. There is no question that those that achieve success will be the ones to inherit our future. However, how do business entrepreneurs pursue success? Here are some of the habits that successful entrepreneurs need to incorporate into their daily life.

BE DISCIPLINED IN ALL AREAS OF LIFE

Research suggests that those who are more successful tend to be more disciplined in the areas they choose to focus on. Although it may seem counter-intuitive, being more disciplined overall helps you focus on what you want to do and accomplish. For example, if you are trying to stop smoking and drink fewer than seven drinks a week, you must be very disciplined in how much you drink and how often. When it comes to success, discipline is critical.

READ 15 MINUTES A DAY

It may not seem to make sense, but those who read daily tend to be the ones who are more successful. Add to the fact that you are reading business books and magazines, and you can see how this will help your business grow.

FOCUS ON WHAT YOU ARE DOING

During the day, there is so much going on for us that sometimes we cannot focus on one task at hand. However, those who try to concentrate will find that they can accomplish more and stay focused longer on whatever they are doing. It is all about taking one step at a time and not feeling overwhelmed.

MOVE QUICKLY

Those who can move quickly are the ones that have a higher chance of succeeding. This is because they can accomplish more in fewer work hours, which is also why they spend less time recovering time between each of their tasks.

SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE AND PLACES

Research shows that those who surround themselves with positive and supportive people tend to succeed more significantly than those who do not have this environment around them.

Those successful entrepreneurs can accomplish a lot because they are more disciplined in what they do. These habits help them stick with their goals and ambitions for the long haul when it comes to success.

About Abe Rahey

Technology has always played a big part of Abe Rahey's life. As a teenager, Abe quickly learned that the video games he played with his friends would open a door to a more in-depth role-- not as a player, but as a developer. Even though Abe didn't have knowledge of any programming languages, he wrote down ideas for game after game using natural language until he had the ability to learn code.

When first learning to code, Abe quickly picked up the procedural languages of Java, BASIC, and C, and it quickly snowballed into Abe creating his own games and even running his own server. Before he had even graduated from high school, the 3D Portal Network that Abe had created had been purchased by GameSpy, a browsing platform that is incredibly popular today. Abe worked with the company in a management position for almost a decade, helping them transition to IGN Entertainment and then Fox Interactive.

After high school, Abe Rahey received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Arizona. His experience in the jobs that he held after college attracted Google's attention, leading him to move from Phoenix, Arizona, to Mountain View, California to take up the role of Senior Director of Engineering. He's held the position for over 14 years. Throughout his tenure at Google, he gained experience in a number of different things, such as Product and Enterprise Infrastructure. He prides himself on being a fair, logical, and diplomatic leader. To learn more about Abe Rahey, be sure to visit his websites!
