There are various methods through which you can easily generate an income funnel through various online platforms. Affiliate marketing is one such platform. And it’s well known and one of the most successful one at that. But here’s the main question what the heck is it? And how do you earn from it?

Well, in affiliate marketing you mainly earn through commission. What kind of commissions you might ask? In affiliate marketing what you mainly do, is promote and sell products of others. And if a sale is successful then you will get a percentage of it. And that is the commission that you were asking about.

By now you should have a basic idea what affiliate marketing. I know it’s not completely clear but you got the gist of it. So how do you become one? That’s even easier all you need to do is to join an affiliate program like ClickBank, Amazon, Wix, Fiverr, Streaming Plug, and many more. Then join any one of them and choose the product you want to market.

Now you think you are ready you just need to join a program and start earning. I wish it were that easy. But unfortunately, life is not a bed of roses. Well, you will understand when starting. But before you begin let me give you some heads up about some of the mistakes you rookies tend to do.

# Think they everything is easy

This is a common occurrence among newcomers. When they find out that it’s promoting a product on the internet, they think they just need to share among their circle and are done. But what they forget they are selling not giving away. Everyone might not be able to afford or they might not need the product.

And if you were to promote it to strangers that’s even harder. Not only do you need to make them understand what the product is and what it does. You would also convince them to buy it through you and what makes it different from products of the same category.

# Joining too many programs

Joining multiple programs is a good thing. But as we know excess of anything is bad. This applies here as well.

To promote a product you first need to know what it does, what are its functionalities, what makes it unique, and similar points. If you had a few a had it wouldn’t be that hard. But too many now that would cost you. Having to research too many products is not child’s play. And if you were to start without researching that would be bad, cause then you won’t be able to promote it properly.

# Losing patience

Like all other jobs on the internet, you would have to have patience while doing affiliate marketing if you want to succeed. It doesn’t matter whether you are a music streamer, videos streamers, or content creator. No one can become successful overnight. No matter which field they are from, they need to do their work diligently and have patience. Only then would they be able to see the light of success.

# No planning beforehand

Before doing anything it’s best to plan it ahead of time. That way not only the chances of success will increase but also excess time won’t be wasted. This applies to affiliate marketing as well.

If you were to plan out and research products that you wanna affiliate with, you will better understand how to promote them even before joining a program. It will even help you to choose the right program for it.

# Only gunning for products worth a high price

We all wanna make a lot of profit in a short time. Because of this, we make such a mistake. To make money quickly many newcomers tend to chose the product with high prices. But that may cost them. First of all, people who can afford high-priced products aren’t that many. And it’s pretty unlikely that they would buy such products from a newbie. So it’s better to choose products that you have used and that you can get buyers to buy.
