The man of your fantasies is either seated across from you at the cafe or is still standing to the left of the bar. After a brief glance in your direction, his eyes quickly refocus on his drink. Was that a sign of interest?

Although it can be challenging to understand an advanced man's mind, interpreting what his nonverbal cues mean can be a valuable tool during a romantic exchange. So be sure to pay close attention to the 10 signs below to ensure you interpret him correctly.

1. He leans in when you talk.

If a guy is into you, you will find that his body will lean toward yours. If the guy you like tends to lean his face closer to yours while he is talking to you or listening to you talk, that is a good sign that he might be into you. It is his approach to telling you he might want to draw nearer. You will both find it difficult to pull away when he does this.

2. It is in his eyes.

If he is interested in you prolonged eye contact is another sign. The next time you see him, catch his gaze and see if he stares back or looks away. If he holds your haze longer than that, he might like you. Return his romantic gaze with a quiet smile and let him know you are interested. He'll be at your side in no time.

3. He has got the touch.

If a guy is interested in you, then he'll want to be near you. He'll also want to take every opportunity to touch you. Maybe it's your arm, your leg, your knee. He'll go out of his way to get close because he likes you so much. He'll always stick close to your side, whether you spend time alone or in a group. He might even spontaneously show up at places he knows you'll be just so he can see you.

4. He checks you out when you're not looking.

Guys with a crush spend a lot of time looking at the person they like. It's a way of silently signaling to you his interest. And he is hoping that you notice him back and look his way. He might not even realize how obviously he’s admiring you! If you look his way, then it might give him a chance to smile at you. If you respond positively to that smile, then he'll be on his way to approach you!

5. He's nervous.

While attempting to make a good impression, he is beginning to feel nervous. You'll make a guy uncomfortable if he likes you. Being around you will cause him to experience chills or a racing heart. Guys always want emotional control because they enjoy being in power. He's probably crushing on you if he has difficulties putting sentences together with you but seems comfortable around other people.

6. He listens closely.

How do you know that you have a guy's attention? When a guy is into you, he'll want to learn about your life. For a man to shut up and really listen to what you have to say, you know it must be love or at least a strong attraction. Take note if he asks you many personal questions about anything and everything, including your likes, dislikes, and background. It means he's trying to get to know you better.

7. He lets himself out

The science of the mind varies greatly between people. He is not verbal; she is. She is guided by strong emotions, whereas he is driven by cravings for the visual. Men punch things, whereas women are trained to express their emotions rationally and to feel no shame in crying. As a result, consider it a major victory for your relationship if he opens up and shares his feelings. Airing your feelings for one another strengthens your relationship and prepares you two for any obstacles that may arise in the future.

8. He compliments you.

If he likes you, he won't be able to stop himself from complimenting you. Examine how frequently he compliments you and the types of compliments he gives. Then, pay attention to any compliments he gives to others. He's probably crushing on you if he constantly compliments you and notices the small details that others overlook.

9. He laughs at all that you say.

He is interested in you when he believes you're the most amusing individual on earth—particularly when you're obviously not. Simply remember that our desire to make others feel significant and recognized when we like them is so strong that we will go out of our way to make ourselves appear senseless so that the other person can be lifted.

10. He gets jealous when you talk to other guys

When you're conversing with other guys, he could begin looking once again, thinking about what's happening. A person who isn't keen on you wouldn't try looking while you're conversing with other guys. The next time you address him, he might seem irate or displeased. This is a clear indication that he is envious of you and that he values you more than a companion. For certain guys, making them jealous may really persuade them to make a move. They could believe they're losing their shot at you, and they'll put forth a final desperate effort to win your adoration. Utilize this with alertness, you would rather not annoy him and force him to look somewhere else.
