You never know everything about someone. Even if you are married to them. We don’t even know everything about our own family members. But, the thing is, some people have the darkest secrets. And when they come to light, it’s a true omg moment.

Primary example. Dating. People show affection for one another. So genuine, so kind and loving. Some people marry with good intentions while others have a hidden agenda. But, as time goes on, you get to know each other and that's when you learn the person. You learn their angle so to speak. They may be loving and kind and keep the promises that they made. But when they have a hidden agenda, the harbored secrets come to the surface.

The hidden agenda person eventually shows their true colors. The loving person that you met has become a person that you don’t even recognize. All the things that they promised you, have gone out the window. Happiness, trust, etc. You are like, what happened? Where did I go wrong? The answer is: nothing. You thought you had learned everything about the person, but you discover that you only found out just enough. They told you enough to get you to trust them and then they showed you who they really are.

For example, take serial killers. What makes them tick? You dont know because these people appear so kind. But then, we learn, these aren't your average every day people. But they turned out to be cold-blooded murderers.

Aileen Wuornos was a female serial killer. You never would think of a woman as a serial killer. Women are thought of as kind, gentle and loving. She knew how to appear that way. But, looks are truly deceiving. She was executed as well.

Ted Bundy was a law student. Who would suspect him of committing all those murders? He was nice-looking, well educated. But he had a dark side: he had a desire to kill. His death was a relief to all.

Jeffrey Dahmer worked in a chocolate factory. Seemingly normal guy, right? Worker by day, murderer by night. His life was cut short by some inmates in the prison where he was incarcerated.

John Wayne Gacy wore many hats. He was involved in politics, was a clown who entertained children and later got his own business and hired young teenage boys. He was considered an upstanding citizen. So, when he was convicted, it was a shock to many. On his way to execution, his last words were kiss my a**.

John Wayne Gacy was married. I don’t even know what it feels like to find out that your husband is a serial killer. To find out that the man you sleep beside every night and that you have a family with is a serial killer is hard to process and his wife probably didn't know to feel or what to say.

I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried. People trusted Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy a great deal. Aileen Wurnous appeared trusting because she was a woman. Jeffrey Dahmer was somewhat of an outsider.

I could name so many more but these three stood out because they were so cold and calculating; they planned these murders. The things that they experienced growing up really did serious mental damage and they inflicted their pain onto other people. That's no justification, but to them, it was.

To end my story, I want to say this. You never know everything about anybody. People tell you what they want you to know and sometimes, you cant even go by that. Go by your intuition because some people can truly be sheep in wolves clothing.
