Secret to sleep in peace

Did you ever feel jealous in your heart? People all around the world in these modern times tend to compare then-self constantly to each other. Who is better? Who is this? Who is that? And without even noticing, we are dragging in a vicious circle where it is necessary to put people down to feel better about ourselves. And this is a common thing, in the current world, everyone feels jealous about something at some point in life. But the need to become better than others is just a sign of inner frustration when the beauty of life is be happy and confident in who you are. Confidence is different from arrogance. The need to put others down, criticize and find something wrong in others to fulfill your cup just shows that there's a dead plant inside you.

So let me tell you a story.

Gabi and Monica were really good friends with Cassi, but one day, gabi came and started to talk bad about Juliet, a girl who never had mad anything to her, she didn't even know it Juliet, but she just didn't like her. So she tends to criticize Juliet like she was a past friend to Gabi and Monica. As most friends do, Monica believed in Gabi and started to talk to Joanna also, and suddenly everyone didn't like Juliet.

But one day, Monica had to join a group of volleyball, and guess who was in the group, Juliet. But Monica could not choose another group. The teachers who choose the students to represent the School were in charge of selecting whoever they wanted.

So every Wednesday, Monica had to train with Juliet. When The girls suddenly knew Monica was training with Juliet, they started to ask a lot of questions to know more things about her. Monica was following the lead. After all, Gabi, Joanna, and all the other's girls were her real friends. But she liked to train with Juliet, and suddenly Juliet becomes her "hidden friend". She realized that all the things that were said about Juliet were in contrast with reality. But she didn't want to miss the girl's friendship, and in order to do, she needs to continue believing in the lies told about that girl. So one day, Monica fall in training, Juliet was the first one to help her, and all the volleyball group went to the nursery with her, but Just feel girls stayed there, and Juliet was one of them.

So after two weeks, that she was better and back to training, Gabi shows up and saw Monica talking and Juliet, like they were friends. Gabi becomes so angry and furious. She could not believe that her faithful friend was now friends with Juliet. How that even possible ?. Monica notices gabi's jealousy. But she continued talking with Juliet like nothing was happening. The next day, Monica went to School, and now all the girls were kinda weird with her. So, she told Gabi, "you know Gabi. You should join the Volleyball group and stop judging people you don't even know like you were friends with them. You created a Juliet that doesn't exist. That Juliet in your head is someone, and Juliet from reality is a totally different person." Monica went angry and put a point in the other's girl mind. In fact, Gabi didn't even know Juliet, but she just didn't like her, and Juliet didn't even know of Gabi's existence.

After that, little by little, the girls stopped to talk about Juliet, And Monica continued to hang out with Juliet and other's different girls, so others girls of gabi old friends, and one day even Gabi was in that hang out, then she realized that in fact, Juliet was not that Juliet. She was nurturing a death plant in her heart about someone she didn't know.

Like Gabi, sometimes we tend to do the same thing, So be aware of your toxic behavior and uproot the dead plant of your heart. Because in the end, that plant just made bad to Gabi and the other girls who believed her.

Stop comparing yourself to others and live your pretty life. Jealous will make you miss out on the good things of your life, and you will not even realize that. When someone is really confident in who they are, there's no need to check others to make sure you are better, you're more smart or pretty, whatever is the need you need to fulfill in your heart to feel better about yourself. Time is too precious, and you will never find yourself looking into others.

Be aware of the dead plants we nursery in our hearts is a smart thing to do in life, because in the end, the bad plants in our hearts just poison our own souls.

There's no need to act like Gabi. When Monica realizes that, she changed a all circle of bad toxic habits. She realized she was missing her life and a good friendship. So say goodbye to toxic behaviors you have, because in the end, your soul is the one being intoxicated. Be who you are, check yourself, grow your garden, so you can feel peace and light. You don't need to be better than anyone to be happy and complete in life. Accept who you are in this world full of fake copies. Don't miss out on the gift of living your own life.
