How important is emergency saving?

Jeeva was studying his class 9th standard and was a second rank holder in school. Even though he studied properly and a good student in school but Mani and Gowri always worry about Jeeva that as he was not serious about saving money for emergency purposes.

Mani and Gowri try to engage him to understand with many examples even though he was so critical about the saving. One day Mani and Gowri planned to make consider the importance of saving.

Both started to being so worried in front of Jeeva told that Mani father not well and they will be forcing him to native to take care of his grandparent. Initially, Jeeva was so happy to go too native as he loves nature and grandpa a lot.

Jeeva before leaving informed his father that he will somehow get his grandfather to the city to stay with them. As per the plan, Jeeva was sent to hometown but grandfather was completely fine with no health issue. He got angry with his grandpa.

Jeeva: Why grandpa? Why did you lie? father so tensed about your health? In point of fact I’m disturbed about the lie Grandpa: Oh my dear I merely required to stay happy a few days somehow convinced him to stay back as it was summer vacation. Though it may seem strange he stays he merely wanted to be in the native for some time.

To explain to him the importance of saving he took him to one of his close friend's house and when Jeeva so they left so bad and no one was there for him to take care of. He felt so bad about His situation and gave them all the money thinking he is required.

Grandpa, however, knows that he did wrong but instead told well to support those who are in need. Belatedly after few days he took him to another friend's house on sighting them even he felt helping financially but he did not have anything so he removed his neck chain and gave them.

Grandpa did not tell him anything but instead., appreciated him for supporting them. Again after four-five days later, he followed him next village, and there they met one old servant who was working in grandpa's house left the job as his son asked him not to work. As he was separated with no family and contacting Grandpa. He will know the relationship value and save money.

Presently Jeeva didn’t have anything to provide he just told the Uncle I’m so sorry I could help now finally but if you require any help please call me anytime.





Servant; felt so happy see y dear child every time to help money is not one their multiple ways. For me, one who gives moral support is more significant than any financial support. For the First time, Jeeva felt that there are many ways to support people it’s not financially. After few days he received a call from his parents to come back to the city as classes will commence in few weeks.

Mani pretends to be busy completely disconnected the call mention the thing that he will follow him once he back from town. He was completely lost the first time he felt that he should have at least kept the money for the bus fare. To ask his grandfather but his ego was stopping him. Jeeva made up his mind to ask granddad but when he went to his room couldn’t unexpectedly ask. On seeing him, grandpa told him that he would drop him at the bus stand tomorrow morning not to worry. With this tension complete night, he didn’t sleep and barely realized his father's words that if you get pocket money of 100 rupees at least 10 rupees should save for emergency purposes instead of spending everything.

The next day morning he was fully ready but looks pale because of no sleep and tension.

Grandpa and Jeeva both came to the bus stand. Finally, Jeeva came to the conclusion that until granddad is there he will sit in a bus but later thought to walk. The smart grandpa made him sit in the bus drive announce that they will depart in 10 minutes if anyone requires a snack can. take to this place only as its nonstop bus. Jeeva requested grandpa to please leave as he was secure anyhow it might rain.

Grandpa before leaving offered him the traditional wood box and asked him to check before the bus departs. He opened the wooden box and surprisingly he found the letter that was written by grandpa with money and his gold neck chain.

Supporting one who is in need is no wrong. There is one mistake if you correct that you will become rarer than diamond. Saving is equally important in life because once we start help other our mind will not accept seeking help from other. I think you would have realized that yesterday evening to seeking me for money it was extremely difficult for same in life you might come across the situation in future.



Since this summer vacation by force was you had learned a new lesson. As a token of a gift and memory of grandpa leaving your gold neck chain and money in this box.
