Meaning: Treat other people with the concern and kindness you would like them to show toward you.

Meaning: It means that someone should not depend on something hoped for until he or she knows for certain that it will happen

Meaning: Don't be upset about a bad thing that might happen; only be upset when something bad really does happen

Meaning: Try to consider or understand another person's perspectives, experiences, or motivations before making a judgment about them

Meaning: Things that are easier to talk abou then to do.

Meaning: It is used to indicate that a relationship or possession acquired without effort may be lost casually and without regret
7. Experience is the mother of wisdom
Meaning: Most wisdom is gained by experiencing different things (compared to acquiring knowledge through schooling or other means)

Meaning: Even the most scrupulous and exact person may fall victim to mistakes and errors.
9. Everybody's business is nobody's business
Meaning: Matters that are of general concern,but are the responsibility of nobody in particular, tend to get neglected because everybody thinks that somebody else should deal with them.
10. Every cloud has a silver lining
Meaning: Every difficult or sad situation has a comforting or more hopeful aspect, even though this may not be immediately apparent.
11. Every dog has his day
Meaning: Everyone will have good luck or success at some point in their lives.
12. Everyone to his taste
Meaning: Each person has their own unique preferences, and all are acceptable.
13. Fine feathers make fine birds
Meaning: Beautiful clothes or an eye-catching appearance make a person appear similarly beautiful or impressive
14. First come, first served
Meaning: Used to indicate that people will be dealt with in the order in which they arrive or apply.
15. Four eyes, see more than two
Meaning:Observation by two people is better than by one alone.
16. Gather ye Rose-buds while ye may
Meaning: Act and enjoy yourself now, before your situation changes.
17. Good words cost nothing
Meaning: You can be generous expressing nice sentiments to others because they cost you nothing.
18. Haste makes waste
Meaning: That doing something too quickly causes mistakes that result in time, effort, materials, etc., being wasted.
19. He who hesitates is lost
Meaning: Delay or vacillation may have unfortunate or disastrous consequences.
20. He who laughs last, laughs best
Meaning: The final winner will have more glory than someone who was winning in the beginning but ultimately lost
21. He who runs after two hares will catch neither
Meaning: If you try to do two things at once, you will fail.
22. Heaven helps those who helps themselves
Meaning: It is necessary for people to take the initiative to help themselves rather than waiting for others to help you
23. Hunger is the best sauce
Meaning: Being hungry makes one less concerned about the taste of one's food.
24. Honesty is the best policy
Meaning: Used to say that telling the truth is better than lying even when it is hard to do
