The art of wait is perplexing. The idea of having time pass by without the notion of doing something. The most time wasted is sleep, but it's also the best time needed. We recover our energy, digest what needs to be digested & heal our wounds. This also helps with the mind. Whether you're dreaming or unconscious the mind travels to places unfamiliar to the confines of the brain when awake. Sometimes patience is hard when your life comes to a late beginning. Its not that you waited so long for things to take place, it's that you have been on survival mode most of your life and now that you have some breathing room, its like you're starting over from the beginning. Starting from a place where you have supporters from a distance. Where everyone now has been on their own journey that now you have to start this journey separated from everyone.

Have patience they say, your time will come. So much time has been taken that now it feels too late. Too late to love, too late explore and too late to live. too late to live for yourself and struggle the way nobody cares to struggle. Maybe they have struggled. Like everyone else they probably struggled in the same way as everyone else and while you were surviving in patience, they all were evolving and fighting. Growing into what makes them whole now. The patience that was bestowed had led you to make others believe that you was already on top when in reality you was in the very bottom like everyone else. Thus, leaving you ignored and unresolved.

As adults we are alone physically while the people we grew with move away into their own ecosystem. Left to their own devices to forge their own path. Unreliable on days to come only to care for their happiness. The times spent and the fun and love forged, now becomes memories to be left behind like chapters in a book. Some unable to make the final cut but there to have made enough of an impact. Patience made me wait for you. It made me want to cultivate something for the future and believe that the world is ours to explore. You helped me catch up with the life that never existed and made me yearn for the life that is. I had patience for you to come to your senses so you can say those words that I only believed to be on the screen but it never came.

My patience came with trust with an enormous amount of loyalty. You had a lot of influence in my happiness. You showed me kindness where I felt was given, you even build me up to change the ways of the past that made me so closed off to the world. You were as much patient with me as I was with you and now that I still give you patience, you have already moved on. Now the stamp has been set. A label has been made and sealed. Solidifying who and what we are leaving my transition to the next very flummoxed.

With all the new strategies and tools under my belt, I can't help but give it all away for another chance at those memories. Those moments that gave me life. The ones that gave me purpose and turned my patience into a mystery. A mystery in which I have trouble solving. Not knowing that there are no clues to find only that time has already won. Time had decided when things were to change and that there is no more need for patience.

Life has to move on and once that stamp has been placed, you don't need to be patient anymore because now you got what was needed. Even if you may not understand fully yet but what you have been waiting for has already came to pass. So cry if you must, look back on everything, but don't let it be your life. It's the part of your life where you were getting the nourishment that you needed enough to bloom into that butterfly that you are now. So yeah, saying goodbye to Ash Ketchum in Pokémon is hard, but its those memories that are forged that gave you the power to fly. So start soaring.
