Sooner or later, we all go through certain disappointments in life. Whether it is suffering in love, a professional or family disappointment, or a generalized state of sadness, they have the power to put us down at some point. But they came into our lives just to teach us to truly appreciate the happiness, peace, and hope that is now just 10 steps away from healing us.

From sadness to acceptance: everything happens for a purpose.

We all go through various trials and sufferings in life, but in us lies the power to turn our sadness first into acceptance, then into reconciliation, and finally into joy.

Be confident that nothing in life is accidental, not even what we usually categorize as an <accident>. Everything happens with a divine purpose, and this purpose is for us to learn from everything, becoming better, more tolerant, and more confident in ourselves and the miracle of Life.

In addition, each event comes with its legacy of learning for us. So always ask yourself: What can I learn from this? Maybe it's just a matter of learning to accept yourself and detach yourself. Or maybe it's more than that. The answer will surely come to you once you have opened up to receive it in your life.

Forgive and move on

Nobody is perfect. Not even when he acts with the best intentions in the world. But it is through knowing and accepting inherently human imperfection that we can attain a small part of divine perfection. Accepting ourselves and others exactly as we are is one of the most important lessons we have to learn in this life.

From this point in our evolution it will be easier for us to forgive those who think we have been harmed, but also to forgive ourselves for how we acted at that moment. Forgiveness, as well as acceptance, must go both ways to be truly healing. But they are the only way to truly overcome the past and move on without the attachment.

Heal yourself with the power of visualization

Imagine how a pink or golden light penetrates your body through the top of your head, reaching every cell in your body. Feel its warm and healing touch as it illuminates the inside of your scalp and then descends gently into your neck. Feel the caress of your entire chest as it illuminates your rib cage and internal organs. Feel the healing touch on the lungs, heart, kidneys, pancreas, spleen, etc.

Watch with your mind's eye as the light slowly descends to your stomach and intestines, then as it envelops your shoulders, arms, forearms, hands, and fingers in its warmth.

Next, the light reaches the pelvic area, descending through the thighs, knees, legs, and up to the toes. Each time, it releases all the tension and brings a state of complete relaxation in every part of the body.

Then the light flows into the Earth, where it carries with it all the negative energy accumulated in your body. There it cleanses itself of all impurities, to penetrate back, clean and sparkling, through your soles.

Visualize how she continues to climb to the head area, energizing every part of your body as she ascends. Then it comes out through the top of your head and rises above you, reintegrating into the healing energy flow of the Universe.

Be grateful for the good things in your life

When you feel overwhelmed by negative thoughts and emotions, try to focus on the full side of the glass. Nothing is just bad or just suffering in life! Many times you may realize that there are more good things in your life than disappointments.

Learn to discover every day the things in your life that you are grateful for, such as the fact that you live, that you have (at least some) loved ones in your life, that you have a job and/or a stable family situation, that you have two eyes with which you can observe the beauties around you and a heart with which you can enjoy them.

Enjoy the simple pleasures of life

Most of the time, the real moments of happiness come in our lives when we expect less and are based on such small things … You can wake up early one morning and be surprised to see the most beautiful and warmer sunrise. Or you may be in a regular conversation with your life partner when at some point you catch that sagacious smile you fell in love with.

The list goes on, including not only blessed moments of life but also things or gestures that please you. These include: reading a good book, buying yourself a bouquet you like, taking a long bubble bath, walking without a rain umbrella, and so on.

Smile more often and people will smile at you

When we feel down, smiling can seem like the hardest thing in the world. But fortunately, we can do this at first and without feeling it wholeheartedly. Through our conscious effort to put a smile on our faces, we are conveying to the universe that we are ready to receive joy in our lives.

In addition, once we start smiling, we will be surprised to find that it is simpler than we would have expected at first. Because the outer smile can attract our inner smile, which will then be strongly reflected on our face and those around us.

So smile on the street, a smile on the bus or the subway, and when a person next to you returns a smile, you will know for sure that you are on the right track.

Feel that the whole world is yours!

Each of us has endless possibilities to live exactly the life we want. But many times we are so caught up in the "confrontation" of the smallest daily problems that we forget that our purpose on this Earth is to amplify our divine spark. After all, God is not an oppressive deity who hinders us from being overthrown and humbled.

On the contrary, He gives us all the opportunities we need to grow spiritually and spiritually. It is important to realize this and to discover in ourselves, step by step, the infinite openness to prosperity and happiness with which God has endowed each of us.

Think about how you can make others happy

Often, the best way to get over personal problems is to focus on the well-being of others. Instead of thinking about how bad you are at the moment, aim to bring more good into another person's life. She may need light now even more than you.

We are not talking about grandiose gestures here, but about every little thing, you can do for that person, including sending him a good thought when you pass him on the street. And when your thoughts or actions focus on that person's well-being, you'll be surprised to find that your problems are either less important to you or self-solving.

Focus on the present

As simple as it is to say, it can be hard to put into practice. Living in the present is a skill that is learned with will and perseverance, day by day, as well as reading or the art of cooking.

We all have, at least at some point in our lives, a tendency to relate more to either the past or the future. But the moment we realize that our life is being built NOW, from our PRESENT thoughts and actions, we will certainly not be drawn to the idea of wasting this precious present.

After all, the past was only necessary to bring us HERE, and NOW, this is its true value for us.

The rest is just about memory and the circumstances associated with another stage in our lives. As for the future, when (and only when) it will become PRESENT, we will be able to find the best solutions to truly and fully live it.

The rest of the plans and calculations for the future are good, but never 100% necessary, especially if they prevent the complete living of the present. Because, at the end, when the future we imagine comes, we will live it as well (or as little) as we now know how to live our PRESENT.

Expect the best in life

It is said that we are attracted to what we think and that if we are not careful, our obsessive worries may one day become a reality. But in the same way, we have the power to attract the best and most valuable things into our lives. It only matters to observe the direction in which our daily thoughts go.

And if worries are the order of the day, it is in our power to consciously choose another way of thinking that is beneficial to both us and those around us.

Indeed, it is not easy at first to follow your negative thoughts and interrupt their <domination> over you. But the reward certainly comes with the effort you put in every day.

Thus, the more you work with yourself to keep yourself optimistic, focusing on the things you WANT to happen (to the detriment of what you do NOT want to happen), the more conscious and fulfilling you will be. much happiness in your life.
