Good “Smart people” Vs Good “Simple people"!

Vs

Good “Simple people"!

Who is really better??

I am going to argue that ,

The smarter you are ,

The far more likely you are to become what some may call, evil !

So, I am stating that "Good Simple" people are MILES better than "Good Smart people" for that very reason!

.

.

Intelligence can be used to justify absolutely ANYTHING and ANY stance!

.

That is both its greatest Strength AND simultaneously it is also its greatest Flaw!

.

.

Take 3 types of "Good" people!

.

"Smart"

"Normal"

and

"Simple".

.

Good “Smart people” are far more likely to commit and be the cause of all evil!

.

A good “normal” person has a straight forward moral compass.

.

HOWEVER!

A good “Simple” person a spot an injustice the rest of us refuse to see.

.

.

A “Smart” good person is really good at over intellectualised, verbose, arguments and is clever enough to debate and “License” themselves to do anything, they want!

.

Deluding themselves that

.

“It was for the greater good”

.

“Those who criticize me don’t realise that I just did,

"What needed to be done”

They will cry, to anyone left standing that will be still willing to listen!

.

They can intellectually licence themselves to do whatever they really wanted to,

With a clever argument to quell any undue, unsettled. Inconvenient conscience.

And they are usually emotionally limited and stupid enough to not be able to catch themselves out doing that!

.

.

Meanwhile...

The good “normal” person might think

“He has a clever way with words, he must be right!”

.

.

BUT!

.

A good “Simple” person will say something, really, very stupid such as...

.

“But why do they have to sit at the back of the bus?”

.

“Why do they have to wear those silly yellow badges?”

.

“Why can’t I send the dinner I don’t want to those starving kids in Africa?”

.

“If cars are so bad for the air, why don’t we just all travel by train?”

.

.

The good “normal” person will then patiently pat the simple” person on the head saying,

.

“Ahhhh, Bless!”

.

Pat them on the head again and continue,

.

“Its so, cute how they don’t know any better….”

.

“So, Adorable”

.

“Run along now and stop asking such silly questions!”

.

.

Intelligence can often blind those that can wield it from seeing a TRUTH!

For me there is no greater truth that simple compassion empathy!

.

.

THE SMARTER YOU ARE,

THE LESS YOU CAN SEE!

.

.

Maybe the so-called “Smart people” should pack their egos away and seriously LISTEN to all the “Simple” people of the world,

Instead, of their own voices!

.

Then use those big bulging blancmange brains of theirs to enact and pass on the true wisdom the “Simple!” people have to offer and make it into a workable policy.

And then use those clever language skills they are so quick to feel proud of,

To teach the "Simple truth" to all the “Normal Good” people of the world!

.

.

WHY AND HOW?

Because "The Smart" will often try and break down and solve the seemingly impossible problem.

Sometimes that means that "The Smart" may mistakenly make people into mere problem components

Because they can fall so in love with the process of problem-solving that they forget that other fellow humans are NOT just mere things!

Their passion and love for their work can make "The Smart" forget that a feeling person is not just a number on a stat sheet.

They can accidentally trick themselves into ignoring the inconvenient suffering of others and the real human consequences of their "Clever" decisions.

They may force a solution, the expense of their own humanity and their other fellow humans right to thrive.

Because, unfortunately, some of the very best and brightest "Smart Good" people can have some of the lowest, bottomed out EQ scores!

Really, evil or not,

History will judge them Harshly!

And rightly so!

.

Whether you are a Humanist, Atheist or Agnostic who wants to take the following fugitively

OR INSTEAD PERHAPS...

A person of a more traditional Faith, or of a more Gnostic state of mind, who wants to see the following a bit more literally.

.

THIS STILL FEELS EQUALLY VERY TRUE, EITHER WAY, YOU LOOK AT IT!

.

It may well be that it is indeed,

"hard to get a camel through the eyes of a needle."

.

But that pales in comparison to how hard it is for a "Smart" person to keep their own internal moral compass from being corrupted by their own intellect!

Compared to THAT!

Being merely Rich is just "a piece of piss"!
