A very recent event caused me to write on said topic and after some time reflecting on it, I came to the following conclusion I will present in that essay. I will be writing about the incompetence of seeing the bigger picture, the effects of blaming, and how mankind lost its reflection. Note that even though this is an essay and I try to view things from an objective view, this will include some helpful impulses, to implement into your daily behavior.

Starting with the first point and the incompetence to see the bigger picture and the inability of going into the mete-level. Entering the meta-level is an important process, one is obligated to learn while growing up. The ability to see the greater picture of a situation is a crucial ability to learn, because it does not just help you, to get an objective opinion and view on a situation, but also because it helps an individual to emphasize and to take on the other one's perspectives. As a skill to learn and enhance not everyone is equally good at doing so. Many factors play into that skill, such as upbringing and education. As I said, it is crucial to learn that skill, to also get a deeper understanding of events around and involving you.

As a result of the inability of emphasis, one starts the harming process of accusations. As I go further into the topic, I want to note, that I am totally aware, that we are not able to control our life in all aspects. This paragraph is about the thought process and thinking in a healthy way.

Accusations are harmful to oneself and to other people around you, in many different ways. First of all, by thinking that others are the cause of your problems, you won’t reflect on yourself and your actions. Second of all, you will start to distrust your surroundings. Further, you will start to seek control over everything the people around you are doing, because apparently those are the ones causing trouble. Here it’s important to differentiate between real problems caused by other individuals and non-existential problems that were caused by ones thinking and blaming. Third, it’s highly important, to learn a way of thinking, that puts you into the center of events that are happening about you. It’s an intellectual who always blames themselves first, before continuing to blame other ones, after an intensive process of reflection.

But after all, what and why do we accuse others first for troubles? And if we want to talk about this, we need to talk about, how we are way too comfortable in our comfort zone, then we should be. As long as we have something to eat, a place to sleep, and maybe some additional luxuries, we are unwilling to get up and do something. Obviously this behavior varies from culture to culture and person to person, but it’s definitely a common behavior in western societies.

It is exactly that behavior, that makes us blame others. We are simply too lazy to get stuff done and solve our problems on our own, so we blame others, thus giving them the responsibility and task of solving said problem. Or we blame them for being the one, who started this or that problem because we don’t want to be responsible and get our hands dirty on solving or fixing it.

One solution to the problem would be, to be more reflective. By reflecting on yourself and the things you have done throughout your day or week, you will get to know yourself better, in the first place. Second, because you start to analyze your behavior, you are going to have a more realistic impression of yourself, as in you know your skills and what you’re worth. And most importantly by being more reflective, you won't start to blame others as easily as without a good reflection.

Closing this essay I want to say, that we as humans need to get comfortable by being outside our comfort zone. We, and foremost my generation, need to pick up the pace when it comes to ambition. If we don’t learn these values, don’t reflect, and don’t stop blaming others, we won’t be possible to take over control in a few years when the older generation will retire. These things I wrote, are not just important for the individual, but for our society as a whole. So I urge you to get up, to reflect, and to put yourself, when it comes to problems. You are in charge of your life and responsible for the things that happen to and around you. Only if we internalize this mindset, we will be truly successful.
