Enough with the Stupidity

I recently found this on Facebook.

The Facebook group/nonprofit group Florida Rising posted this, that was copied from the opinion page of Florida Today. The person who wrote it is named Rex Huppke, who is a columnist for Florida Today and he is writing this as a form of satire. One would think that an actual, real moron would write this list of classics pieces, even though they would be too stupid to actually read these classic pieces.

Sadly, the banning of books is realistic to the point where one does have to ask if it's satire or not. In many instances, it is not.

Some books like the Hate You Give is banned because of its anti-police viewpoints; This Book is Gay is banned because of gender and sexuality and even Anne Frank's Diary is banned in the state of Texas for a while but was recently brought back after much pressure was put on to keep it on the shelves. Even the graphic novel Maus was yanked from shelves because like Anne Frank's Diary it had to do with the Holocaust.

This unfortunately is the country I live in.

People are more threatened by literature than they are by Climate Change, random idiots with guns shooting at people for some dumbass reason or even what the Orange Fuhrer himself is doing with classified documents.

I have to tell you why people need to stop giving these Trump-loving-Liberal-hating-college dropouts need to stop being relevant?

These bums are like Trump: telling lies to make them relevant and do not care if people get hurt as a result of it.

When that's not the case, they are promoting bigotry.

The shooter in Buffalo, New York who killed 10 African Americans was motivated by Tucker Carlson and his promotion of "White Replacement Theory."

Fox news is not news.

It is right-wing propaganda aimed at attacking anything that doesn't fit their demented point of view. What's worse, is that they slut shamed a ten-year old rape victim as calling the rape "unproven". (1)

There is just no low that they will stoop too to be relevant.

Lauren Boebert wrote a book

I kid you not when I am saying this.

The high school dropout/politician wrote a book and has signed copies out there for sale.

How is it someone as incompetent as her gets her works published, while great pieces have a harder time getting made available because of the book bans, or bloggers who write posts like the one I am writing now get hardly noticed?

I know people can always refuse to watch this crap, but it seems like the "media" promotes this crap non-stop to distract people from serious issues that may or may not affect people but should still be considered newsworthy.

While the crap was going on with Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, the people of the Ukraine were still being attacked by the Russians. Back during the scandal with Charlie Sheen that got him kicked off Two and Half Men, Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin was promoting Act 10 which ended collective bargaining for unions in the state.

I don't even want to hear about the half-time show for Super Bowl XXXVIII when Janet Jackson had that wardrobe malfunction during the performance or the inheritance court cases of the late Anna Nicole Smith.

This is the kind of crap that makes me hate celebrity news.

Haters

There are so many of them out there that I don't even know where to begin.

There are those who were (and still are) hating on the new Rings of Power series, as well as people who saw the twerking scene from the She Hulk series recently. Some of these numbskulls do nothing but complain about the things in popular culture that have no effect on how we live are lives.

Then of course you had all the people hating Barack Obama because he was a successful, well-educated black man with a lovely wife and two wonderful children, as well as an administration that wasn't as controversial as his "successor" who was nothing but a hater and an idiot, who deserves no attention.

I don't think I need to mention how there are people who hated/hate on Dr. Fauci, Jessica Ahlquist, Great Thunberg, David Hogg, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Merrick Garland (recently) and too many other people who are wanting to do what's best for the human race and the United States of America.

Ammosexuals

Why are these morons allowed to walk freely in the community carrying such weapons of death? Especially military-grade weapons of death?

These bums walk around thinking they the tough guys around town yet were too stupid to take the examinations to police officers, too spineless to enlist with the armed forces and have the audacity to say they are defending themselves against the imaginary threats from a liberal form of government but have no problem with an authoritarian style of governing (like we had under the Orange Fuhrer).

When will the stupidity end?

There is so much ignorance and stupidity out there in today's society, that I cannot write about all of it all in one piece.

I will conclude is that Americans need to stop making a big deal about what will/will not offend in terms of literature and stop with the banning of the books, promote more in the way of Critical Race Thinking and sex education, more Liberal Arts based education and jobs, and free education.

The USA can do better and be just as good as the other developed countries.

We just need to stop giving ignorance the same rights as those of us who want to move forward,
