from theplancollection.com, similar to the house Evelyn lives in

Whenever Evelyn missed her aunts, she would listen to Harry Belafonte music since that's what they listend to together when they were alive.

As she was coming to terms with her pregnancy, she thought of who she'd want there for it.

Her father was no help since he lacked compassion. It didn't help that he was a sociopath. Her mother had Alzheimer's so she couldn't help either.

Even when she felt him kicking, she thought of how her aunts would want to be there for that. At least Tom was there to share in it. He kept Katherine so updated on it she felt like she was there.

Katherine was an understated person. She was slow to anger, though she knew how to assert herself if it came down to it. She just didn't want to have to. She was more like Elsie that way.

While conflict was not something she sought out, Evelyn was silling to have one when necessary. She was more like Elizabeth that way. Neither of them had any problem asserting themselves or standing up for their loves ones. They were the motehr hippos or elephant matriarchs. Their presences were tough, but comforting. In a word, reliable.

Evelyn learned her mom toughness and her cooking from Elizabeth. In fact, once Evelyn got cooking down, she took it over while Elizabeth did the baking, which she enjoyed anyway.

Evelyn was like Elsie in taking refuge in intellectualism. They could both look past the situation to see the solution.

Elsie had taught Evelyn her powers while Elizabeth had taught her her empathic powers.

Evelyn's ultimate form didn't even look like her. Her spirit name was Lilitu. Her current form was human, 5-foot-7, blue-eyed, blonde with curly hair and fair-skinned. Her true form had black eyes, deep red hair that was wavy, tan skin and was 6-foot-4. she was also an elf in her true form. Her reptilian form was that of a dragon and her feral form that of a cat.

She brought herself back on November 4, 1986 at 2:15 a.m. out of a man-sized tube filled with water. She killed her nemical equivalent, the dissonant version of her.

She technically wasn't fated in that life.

Her goddess names were Tiamat, Lilitu, Inanna, Ashtart, Ma'at, Tefnut, Mut, Neith, Nephthys, The Morrigan (Badb, Anand, Macha), Themis, Ananke, Rhea, Nemesis, Athena, Hestia, Persephone, Adtasteia, Asteria, Styx, Brunnhilde. Her famous past lives were Psyche, Cassandra, Polyxena, Alcmene, Deianira, Rihanon, Morgause. Her Heaven names were Asherah (Sumerian), YHWH (Jewish), Ariel and Agatha.

Her aunts were the town witches. Most avoided them while some sook their help. They had a shop full of Pagan ritual goods right next to a small grocery store out of which they sold what threw out of their herb and vegetable gardens. Eventually, Elizabeth came to lead a yoga class and Elsie did freelance research online. They later sold the two stores and focused solely on their new careers.

The stipulations about Evelyn's inheritance from her aunts were that she had to have spent five years paying for everything herself, then she could inherit.

When she told all this to Tom, they both exchanged a look and shrugged. Her aunts ment more to her than any money. She was missing out on the looks on their faces the first time they saw Evelyn's son.

~

The difference between how she looked as Evelyn and how she looked as Tori wasn't that drastic. The face shape was the same, though she was pale as Evelyn where she'd been lightly tan as Tori; She had blue eyes as Evelyn where she'd had teal eyes as Tori; she was thinner (she'd lost 100 pounds at one point) as Evelyn than she'd been as Tori; her hair wa light, frizzier, dryer and curlier as Evelyn than it had been as Tori; it had been between mouse brown and honey blonde as Tori.
