101. I don't like sharing my toys. The creature under my bed make it clear that if I didn't he'd eat me.

102. I can't stop sweating. Looking into the mirror I see my desiccated body shrivel up like a raisin.

103. Maggie box keeps all her prized possessions. After she's done with her boyfriend she returns him to his coffin.

104. After a few hours Harvey got into the rhythm of brick laying. Likely because Drew stopped screaming through the gag as Harvey bricked up the alcove.

105. Victor signed as he swung peacefully in the night air. From the corner of his eye he could see the great spider lumbering closer to his position.

106. Opening the door to my bedroom I see Marty, my husband, sitting on the bed covered in a bed sheet ghost costume; this man loves to scare me. Before I can yell at him Marty's voice comes from across the hall, "Honey, where are the bed sheets?"

107. My opponent and I are locked in a stalemate; neither one of us is willing to let the other score the final point. The tennis ball being a bomb is why.

108. Everyday at five thirty-seven a grey truck rolls passed my house and down the empty country road. I tried recording the vehicle on video to show a friend, but it didn't show up on the recording.

109. Glenn had been a contractor for nearly thirty years. Having wood rot infect the flesh of his hands was a grisly first for him.

110. Jackson easily broke the state record as he zoomed down the track. Unfortunately, he still wasn't fast enough to escape the Lurker.

111. "Don't worry Jim," said Greg reaching the cliff's edge, "I'm lowering the rope now." What ascended the rope wasn't Jim or human.

112. "Laughter and screams are the only two sounds that humans make that transcend all language barriers," Becky told Felicity. Taking a scalpel from the tray Becky turned toward her restrained captive saying, "You'll be supplying the screams while I'll be supply the laughter."

113. Everyone cheered as the ball descended and the last few seconds of twenty twenty ticked away. There was utter silence as the ball started to rise and the clock began to rewind.

114. It's general knowledge that hurricanes have an eye at their center. The classified part is what stares through that eye into our realm.

115. With a content chuckle Trent sunk the last screw and stood back to inspect the newly finished wall. In bewilderment he watched as all the screws, he'd spent the last few hours on, turn on their own and fall to the floor.

116. The day Betelgeuse went supernova was a day that no one could forget. Our nightmares of that day were too vivid and relentless to allow us that mercy.

117. Timmy was a rotten kid so it wasn't a surprise that he got a lump of coal for Christmas. What was a surprise is when the lump opened its eyes.

118. Carol spotted the thin snake tracks over an hour ago on the northern end of his property and had been following them ever since. A clanking sound meet his ears just before an animated length of chain struck out from the brush and seized him.

119. "Mama in her kerchief and I in my cap had just settled down for a long winter's nap," John read to his anxious children. Occasionally his eyes would glance to the panic room's door; hoping that their unwelcome guest would leave the their home soon.

120. There once was a growing town, Loscal, located right on the border between Florida and Alabama. The community and all its residents vanished the night my hunger struck.

121. Victor extinguished the candles one by one as he approached his wife. Ashley watched in terror as the ghost of her murdered husband slowly darkened the room.

122. Kyle would periodically check his friends list and delete people he hadn't talked to in awhile. His computer was a glitch in reality that erased anyone he deleted off; a function he was well aware of.

123. My house is filled with children's laughter. I can't find the source of the sound.

124. In order to construct a colony on the moon the colonists needed to dig down into the lunar surface. The trove of bodies they uncovered halted their efforts.

125. Danyel had always been a nervous girl, prone to completely freezing up in awkward situations. Her current inability to move wasn't do to anxiety; her flesh simply was turning to gray stone.

126. Martin finally had enough pieces of the mystery puzzle, a gift he'd received last Christmas, in place to make out the image. It was a picture of him hunched over a table working on a puzzle; behind him stood a menacing figure.

127. My cellphone would often ring off at the most inopportune times. I quickly silence the device, desperately hoping that the creature hunting me hadn't heard the cheery ringtone.

128. My two year old son is oddly terrified of the kitchen cabinets. His answer of "Eye fingers" never made sense; at least until I saw eyestalks staring at me from the cup cabinet.

129. "Still not a fan of this new environmental suit," stated Patrick squirming in his bulky suit. His next complaint was cut off when a clammy hand grip the back of his neck.

130. You ever catch the lighting just right and see objects floating in your field of vision? Next time that happens move quickly; they don't like it when someone peeks into their realm.

131. Question everything you don't personally witness. It's the only way to tell if you're real or just another part of the simulation.

132. Patty's headphones and music were her sanctuary. They helped her escape the horrid screams that surrounded her.

133. If there's a ghost in your house that only moans and throws things be thankful. That just means they want you out and aren't looking to trade places.

134. A great horn filled the foggy night air as the silhouette of a vessel drifted through the city. Our community is landlocked.

135. Pocket bombarded the crowd with joke after joke as his ventriloquist, Frank Gilbert, sat silently. No one knew that Frank died during the opening minutes of the act.

136. I had to take away my daughter's crayons when she started drawing on the living room wall. The creature she draw started moving today.

137. Michael throw another log on the fire, and hoped he had enough to keep the fireplace going throughout the night. The doors and window were all securely barricaded; the only way for that thing to get to him was through the chimney.

138. "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six,"chanted the crowd in growing excitement, "five, four, three, two, one." Cheers filled the great ship as volley after volley struck the Earth's surface; destroying the cities of humanity.

139. Glancing out my apartment window my eyes lock onto the old gnarled oak tree.With a sigh I prepare to leave my home for the last three weeks; that oak has been following me for almost a year.

140. "For my next trick I shall pull something essential from my hat," declared the magician with a smug smirk. From his dapper top hat he pulled a still beating heart; the man beside me slumped over.

141. There once was a man named Rusty, who lived in the old cabin up on the mountain. The ghost that dwelt there didn't give him a choice in the matter.

142. Walter was moody do to his adult teeth coming in. The fact that they were sprouting up along his spine only made it worst.

143. Number stations are radio broadcast that ramble off sequences of numbers; speculations range from aliens to alternate dimensions. Their true nature is more like a complex countdown.

144. The Riley household was filled with the pitter patter of little feet. The inky child sized footprints appeared on the floor, up the wall and across the ceiling.

145. Paula always looked forward to seeing her newly planted flower bloom. Her traditional enthusiasm ended when the newer flowers opened their petals; revealing rows of sharp fangs.

146. Sawdust flew as Vinny cut the boards to the correct size. Due to the combination of the table saw's great volume and his earbuds he'd didn't hear the slaughter of the rest of his crew, nor did he hear the monster's approach.

147. Stanley contently munched away at his deli sandwich. His bliss was broken when he felt something claw it's way out of his stomach and up his throat.

148. Contrary to popular belief the oceans have been fully explored. What we found in their darker reigns warned us never to return.

149. "Narwhal, narwhal swimming in the ocean," Luke sang to himself before violently shaking his head in an attempt to rid his mind of the meddlesome tune. His fate was already sealed; later that night the creature that the song had implanted would hatch out of his head.

150. "Hush little baby don't you cry," sang Maree hoping to sooth Aaron. When her captive wouldn't stop whimpering she added coldly, "If you don't you will die."
