Jonah watched her as she played one the playground transfixed by her and her beauty. He knew he had to have her and would do whatever he could to make it happen. He sat on the bench transfixed and fantasizing. His thoughts turning to past victims. He loved the hunt and the thrill of catching them and making them his. He loved it when they screamed and loved it even more when he took their dolls and put them in his trophy room.

She began to leave the park and he noticed she was alone perfect she is all mine he thought as a grin crept across his face. He stood up checking his pockets. Cell phone for photos bottle of chloroform and rag to apply it all there. He started to follow her as she skipped along the sidewalk. Her golden curls bouncing in the air her dress flowing along. He could hardly believe he never saw her before.

She turned and began walking down a set of stairs leading to an abandoned building. Even more perfect nobody will even know she is gone or where she is the grin spreading across his creepy face. He pushed his glasses up on his face and reached into his pocket. He pulled out the bottle and poured the liquid onto the rag as he walked down the stairs.

As he entered the building he saw her at the other end sitting there playing with an old porcelain doll. Another trophy too this couldn’t be anymore perfect. He slowly walked towards her and as he did she stood up.

“Mother I have another one for you another feast for you to make you stronger”

“Take him for me child” a voice called out from an unseen body. The voice was dark and raspy clearly female but not sounding human.

“Do you want me mister?” she called out.

“Yes” he said his voice full of lust and longing.

“Come get me then” she called with a giggle.

He began walking faster now the lust and longing pulling him closer to the one he wanted. When he was only a foot away she turned with such speed he barely saw her move. She looked up at him her eyes no longer the jade green he had seen before but pure black. She raised her hands as though in defense but he knew something was not quite right. He started to turn to leave but as he did she took one finger and pointed towards him. As she did he flew backwards an unseen force throwing him across the room and into the wall behind him knocking the wind out of him. As he tried to catch his breath she stamped her foot on the ground causing him to fly to the roof and then fall back down.

He felt as though he was going crazy, what seemed like a simple thing turned out to be much more complicated, and he was worried that this girl was going to kill him. As he thought this she looked at him her eyes still black and full of evil. She started twirling her fingers and smoke rose around her. She again pointed at him and he flew back hitting the wall hard. As she twirled her fingers all around he flew all over the room.

He begged for her to stop, but until his body and spirit were beginning to break, she kept up the torture. As his spirit and bones began to shatter his mind was then filled with a vision. He was in his trophy room surrounded by all the trophies he had collected over the years. As he looked at them he remembered each conquest. He began to reach out to touch them when black claws wrapped around his head and Mother’s voice rang out in his head.

“This is what you do and what you like, to grab girls and take them from this world? Well you will not have my child she will feed you to me, and I will soon rise to take you all from this world.” Her laughter echoing in his head as he came back to the real world.

Frantically he began to look for his phone and started to dial. “911 emergency how may I direct your call”

“Help me now!” he screamed.

Mothers laughter filled the room as the girl flicked her fingers towards him causing him to fly and hit the wall hard and his phone to shatter. As he looked at her he saw Mother’s shape rising from the smoke behind her. Her arms were long with claws for fingers. She had wings that stretched across the room with spikes along the edges, and a snakelike torso. As he looked upon her, he thought this is how I die the hands of a child, and Medusa the irony of it all causing him to laugh aloud. The girl reached out and made a grabbing motion then pulled towards herself causing him to fly right to her. Mother laughed as she bent down over her child and bit him in half blood spraying across the room. Then she swallowed the rest of him a grin across her face.

“You did well my child”

“Thank you, mother.”

“Yes, child I will be in this world fully soon. Two more and I will rise” Mother said as she started to dissipate into the smoke.

“Goodbye Mother” she said as Mother faded away. She walked over to the wall and using some of the blood on her she marked the wall with its 11th mark.

She flung her arms out and all the blood flew off her. And she began to walk up the stairs. She skipped along the sidewalk back to the park to await their next victim. As she did along the sidewalk her brother joined her.

“hello us” he said

“Took you long enough Me. Where have you been?”

“Trapped in a board. Where is mother?”

“She will be here soon let us bring her together”

The two of them walked through the park hand in hand reveling in their latest conquests as they awaited their next to bring forth mother.
