Here I am sitting here next to Devon. Devon always knows how to make me feel good. Every time I need Him he comes running for me. He makes my heart skip a beat he makes me sweat & he gives me chills all throughout my spine. When me and Devon lay in bed next to each other I feel like I’m the only woman in the world to him. At this point I don’t see a world with out him. Just the previous night he put a ring on my finger and asked me to be a wife. I have never been so happy in my life. Mid way thru my thought process our eyes link up my face is literally saying “I’m in love” however his face was saying “I’m gonna be sick”. He throws up almost everything we ate right on the floor in front of me. Watching in great shock I jump up and run to get a towel. When I came back into Living room there he was laying on the floor with blood leaking out of his mouth. I screamed so loud & dropped to my knees. That’s how I knew the spread had begun.
Hunt for the Roseville cavemen
When I was five, I had my first run in with the paranormal. “Night son” shaliesh radford (my adopted father) said as he shut the door to my room. I lay in my bed just as I drifted to sleep BAM!!! the door slams open with such force that the Handel puts a whole in the wall, it was as if someone in a anger forced it open, in fear I hid under my covers for a full minute before un-covering myself and gathering my courage I got out of bed, my black nike socks touching the wood floor as I go to the air vent to see if it was on and to my surprise it wasn’t, I then checked to see if my parents were asleep, sneaking down out 2 story, 3bedroom 4bath house to there room to find them fully asleep “what the hell” I said to myself... Of course I got grounded as my parents didn’t believe my explanation of that nights events, although I still was allowed to go to the gym (yes as a kid I was a big gym guy had a real lean muscles body vs the frame I have now, a lean yet slight pot bellied build albeit despite the slight roundness you can still see outline of the 6-pack I use to have and with just some toning up I will easily have them again)

Alexander M BoastPublished 4 years ago in HorrorTrue Terror: Anaesthesia Awareness
Anaesthesia awareness is the experience of becoming aware during a surgery, when under general anaesthetics. I recently wrote about the phenomenon of Sleep Paralysis, which is a state in which you suddenly wake from sleep but cannot move or speak. In the most disturbing cases, you can experience terrifying auditory and visual hallucinations, read more about it here.

England 1876 Day 1 North of Suffolk the trees grow tall and densely, reaching up to the empty sky. Their leafless branches calling out to the black abyss, they contort and twist fascinatingly, almost unnaturally so. The flat marshes and wetlands sprawling across the sour land like a virus, the thick, murky water seeping into every cold crack. A dangerous place for the imagination would be alone in that ancient forest. A place so solitary and austere, only the most depraved and desperate would seek to find solace in its rotted wood.

Huh, a horror movie written and directed by a woman, featuring a woman lead who will be solo 97% of the movie? Count me in because horror needs to recognize the strength women have especially in times of intense distress--

Q-ell BettonPublished 4 years ago in HorrorReed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Zombie With A Shotgun' (2019)
Yeah, this was fun. As many of my readers well know, my wife watches a lot of horror movies with me, and one of our favorite things to do is riff the movie we're watching. It's one of the ways I know a movie has riffing potential. Of course this movie, being a shoe-string indie, had all kinds of riffable material. It's like the trope my wife coined "ForeCaging," (named after the hammy acting of Nicolas Cage) which means "Foreshadowing riff worthy material from the setup."

I’m really not sure where to start with this one because I absolutely loved every minute of it! I have been a fan of Darcy Coates ever since I read her book “Craven Manor” last summer. There is just something about the way that she writes that can beautifully and so vividly pull you into the universe that she creates on the page. With Coates’ amazing ability to craft a story that sucks you in, I found myself unable to put this book down.
Kurt MasonPublished 4 years ago in HorrorIs Junji Ito just "gross" horror?
I happened to purusing through YouTube to find some Junji Ito stories to read, and I found this video about how overrated Junji Ito was, I was fair and I watched the video on his stance. The main point was that his work was just "gross". I could understand the fact because of most of Junji Ito's work does involve some uncomfortable moments of what happens to someone, a terrifying transformation, or an unfathomable demise to a character. As a fan of Junji Ito's I immediately was on the fence about this argumentative fact, but I am a neutral person, I see this from both sides.
