The 3 Spine Chilling Legends of Maine
Maine is my first stop on the map for monsters that have the potential to be living among us. Before we get started on our journey, however, I'd like to take a quick detour and talk a little about Maines history.
Phantasmagoria
I slammed the door and ran out into the woods of my backyard, far, until I couldn’t hear my parents’ screams anymore. I fell down to my knees, hugging my chest as tears fell and made it even more difficult to breathe.

The guests, few of them, though there were, stared in amazement at the scene before them. Beautiful and terrifying, the tropical cliff face was rocky and rough. Even if they had been able to bring chairs up here, they wouldn’t have been able to sit comfortably, but that didn’t matter. Mesmerizing was the view of a thousand miles of dense forest, complemented by the crystal lake several hundred feet below. Who would think to get married here? The edge of a cliff... One step in the wrong direction and you could easily plummet to your death.

Do you believe in reincarnation? Or, if not, are you open to accepting it as a premise for a taut, slow-burning family thriller that builds up to a clutched-by-the-throat ending? If yes, you're in for a rewarding 90 minutes with Evil Eye.

The Wife Beater By John Alan Negich It was a steamy Florida night in the panhandle the spring of 1954 and I, John Stanic, was on yet another mission to answer the call to do what I do best, and that is to dole out justice to those who commit unforgivable acts but never receive a sentence for those heinous crimes. My objective tonight was to eliminate The Wife Beater, abuser, and husband of my friend Shelly Aiken. Shelly was my nurse while I convalesced at a rehabilitation facility and was instrumental in restoring me back to health after a terrible life threatening encounter with a couple of rednecks during an attempted robbery. I owed her my life and I was about to give her life back to her. I went over my plan again and again as I waited in the Oldsmobile until well after midnight.
John NegichPublished 3 years ago in HorrorSleepaway Camp (1983)
Sleepaway Camp is an odd, somewhat odorous entry in the historic category of teenage slasher flicks. It has a particularly weird, cinematic halitosis, a kind of intellectual reek that sets it apart from even worse films. It is not, altogether, a bad film; yet, there is very little about it that could objectively be said to be "good." It is a sleazy, contrived, low-rent offering, but it does have a shocking finale that is somewhat unforgettable, if not grotesque.
Fallen by Lauren Kate - Book Review
This review was originally written in 2016 and published on Goodreads: This is a book was sitting on my bookshelf since I was sixteen, but I never got round to actually reading it and as I was recently given the rest of the series and the film adaptation is due for release this September, I thought I should finally read it.
Review of 'Nocturne'
I saw and enjoyed Nocturne last night, the fourth of four horror movies by Blumhouse on Amazon Prime Video, which four themselves are the first installment in a larger series to continue in 2021. Like the first three Blumhouse movies I saw -- The Lie, Black Box, and Evil Eye -- Nocturne is a tightly drawn family drama. But Nocturne has the additional depth of being situated in music.
