The water dripped from the old leaky pipes into the sink; dishes sat piled to the brim. The water kissed the surface of the already soaked dish. The horrific sound produced bounced off the walls continuously.

Drip drop drip drop drip drop...

The sound sent chills up the young girl's spine. Where was this sound coming from? The pipes had already been repaired. Climbing carefully out of bed, creeping steadily down the stairs, she began to check where the pipe could be messed up, but everything looked fine to her. She stood up, about to be on her way back to dreamland, when halfway up the steps she heard the dripping water again...

Drip drop drip drop...

Frozen in fear unable to move, she slowly turned around. Lurking in the distance a dark shadow appeared, and paralyzed in fear, her heart began to race. It slowly crept along the floor like a serpent watching its prey, feeding on her prolific fear as it seeped from her body. She was terrified and physically unable to move. Her heart appeared to be in a race to beat right out of her chest, and the floor was the finish line. No longer able to endure what was happening, everything just went dark.

In and out, not knowing where she was. Wondering why she had been taken from her home, where was she at, what this shadowy figure wanted. Those were all the questions coursing through the young girl's mind. In a battle to remain conscious, she fought to survive. Markings, sitings, smells, light, anything the young girl came in contact with, she tried to take note but she knew nothing of her surroundings. Where was she? Lost with little hope of survival, she began to lose faith.

Slowly coming through, she was able to see a light shimmering off the broken glass, and around her, creatures she’d only read about in books. What was she to do? Not knowing when the creature would return, she had to act fast, but play it smart. How was she supposed to do that against creatures like them?

She had no chance...

Days passed as she lay still, not moving an inch. As if her body was froze in time. Hope was draining from her effortlessly, as she knew she’d never see civilization again...

Two months had passed since the young girl was taken, and her hopes were still withering away...

Until... BOOM!!

The side of the rigged walls collapsed, and there stood what seemed to be a man. But with not knowing what was real to her, it was only a dream...

Trying to remain conscious, she only caught glimpses of her surroundings. It was dark, and she could barely see, struggling to find something that could help her know where she was. But everything to her seemed unfamiliar: The air was different, the smell, tress, animals. Nothing made sense to her. It was as if she wasn’t on earth at all, a thought that she made her ability to escape much harder. She knew nothing of this place, or what kind of dangers lurked beyond where she’d been taken. With so much coursing through her mind at once, she passed out again...

Hours passed since she was taken...

She awoke in a place that was strange. She sat up to find herself in a bed, with food and drink on the side table. Without knowing who took her, she was unsure if she could trust these people—if they’re people at all.

The door rattled as someone was about to enter the room. The young girl flung herself back in bed, as the captures walked in...
