‘Y&R’ Spoilers: Lola defends Theo as Summer gives in to temptation with Kyle

Previews for coming episodes of The Young and the Restless indicate that “Kola” may be over and “Skyle” coming back strong. The CBS video shows Mariah grilling Theo about wanting another man’s wife and shows Dummet telling Kyle she just wants him to be happy then lean in closer and kiss him. Last week Summer aske Mariah yo intervene before Kyle and Theo come to blows. Somewhere between that time and when Ms. Copeland confronts Theo someone must have filled in some blanks because Summer did not give her details of what was going on.

On Mondays’s episode of The Young and the Restless, there a party at Society for Jabot is the setting where Kyle follows his cousin into the kitchen and hits him in the face. The previews for the rest of the week show Kyle accusing Lola of not realizing that Theo has feelings for her and she throws it right back at him by saying the same is true of Summer where her Kyle is concerned. Lola appreciates that Summer was her organ donor and has tried to tolerate her flirting with Kyle but she may be about to put her foot down.

The Young and the Restless has tiptoed around these issues for months but this week, everything hits the fan. Lola obviously is furious with her husband for decking his cousin and Kyle is angry that she allows Theo to hang around like a love sick puppy dog. This is pretty hypocritical considering that Lola took the high road when Summet gave her spouse an intimate birthday gift. To be fair, Theo only hangs around Lola when he can but Summrt and Kyle work together day and night. Now they will be taking a business trip alone together which could be dangerous.

In the promo, Kyle and Summer are face to face only inches apart when she says she only wants him to be happy. She seems to be the one initiatinh the kiss but viewers will have to watch this episode to find out what led up to this moment. Soaps She Knows spoilers said that Kyle is going to kiss Summer, so he could have said or done something prior to this scene that encourages her. Viewers will notice that as she places her lips on his, Kyle’s eyes are closed and he is a very willing participant. Nothing has been revealed about them taking things any further but the lip lock is huge.

Kyle abruptly ended his marriage to Summer and cut her off like yesterday’s news. Abby, Mariah and others think harshly about Ms. Newman and blame her for everything. They forget that Lola slept with Kyle while he was still married to his first wife and that “Skyle” have a very dysfunctional history that has kept them in close proximity. Who tells a man she seduces his uncle who happens to be her mother’s boyfriend? What man manipulates a woman into marriage, so that she will be an organ donor for the woman he really wants to be married to?

“Kola” fans believed Lola was the better choice for Kyle because Summer was playing mind games and viewers knew that Theo was not a keeper. Now that everyone’s true feelings are being brought out into the open it will be interesting to see how it all comes out in the end. Theo practically begged Summer and Kyle to take some extra time on their trip because he wants to be alone with Lola, Niw that Kyle has played into his hands by hitting him, he is betting on Lola’s sympathy and hoping for more. After Summer and Kyle kiss they might or might not take things to the next level, “Kola” needs to have a serious talk about their marriage and get things out in the open before someone gets seriously hurt.
