William deVry teases Junelle may have a baby

General Hospital fans are eager to find out what happens with Julian and Nelle now that they are married. The ABC daytime drama has the OK from the California Governor to start filming again as early as June 12. Writers have not leaked any juicy storylines that they had been working on, but the actors are voicing their opinion on what may happen. William deVry, who portrays the former Jerome mob boss said on Twitter that perhaps "Junelle" got busy during the quarantine and will become parents. Viewers have assumed that storylines will pick up where they left off, but time jumping could come into play. Days of Our Lives skipped an entire year, so anything is possible.

Most fans would prefer to see the courtroom drama play out where Nelle is frantic that her new hubby's past might keep her from getting sole custody of Wiley. A majority of viewers want Michael and Willow to have full parental rights to the little boy they adore and eventually fall in love. There are so many loose ends in Port Charles, that skipping ahead would deny viewers the right to see certain characters get what is coming to them. Some fans correctly suspected that Nelle would blackmail Julian into marrying her but not many people believe they will fall in love. Now that social distancing is in place, there is no way to know if love scenes between this couple will even be possible right away.

There are still some Julexis devotees who have not given up believing that somehow Alexis and her ex husband will get back together. They were toxic but viewers enjoyed their chemistry as well as their steamy love scenes. Should the entire truth be revealed about Julian's role in the baby swap, and his tampering with the bakes on Brad's vehicle, he will not have one friend left in Port Charles. He and his new wife definitely would not gain custody of Wiley if all the facts were available. This situation is a slippery slope and there is no indication of which way the writers are going to let it play out.

Soap Dirt did a poll where 1059 General Hospital fans responded. 50% said they prefer Alexis with Neil, 45% chose Julian and 5% equally liked both men. Perhaps some time down the road Julexis might reunite but for now Julia has his hands full being married to the town pariah. If this couple do hook up and have a baby this will not keep them together because there are so many secrets between them. Earlier in the year, William deVry suggested that his character might be written off of General Hospital. If that were true, the plans obviously have changed, at least for now.

Julian has made enemies of most everyone in town by marrying the woman who is most hated by everyone. Nelle has lied on Brad saying he stole her baby when it was actually the other way around. Her crimes against Sonny and Carly are too many to mention and she only has Nina in her corner. Initially, viewers believed Chloe Lanier might be Nina's daughter, but the actress left General Hospital. Once she was no longer on the show, everything seemed to be pointing to Willow. As sioon as Lanier returned it was revealed that she owns the other half of the locket that Nina's mother left her. Even so, some fans on social media believe it is a trick.

The thing is, there are no other viable candidates and Nelle and Nina look like each other. They are working together at Crimson and Nina has decided to testify on behalf of her new employee at the custody hearing. The two women have been slowly bonding so it's almost certain they will be revealed as mother and daughter and they both have locket halves. Nina would gain an instant family, with a daughter, grandson, and son in law. If Nelle gives birth to Julian's baby this would be one additional person in the family.
