Wes Ramsey could be the next to exit 'General Hospital'

The fate of Peter August will determine whether the cast is decreased by one more and if Maxie ends up with Brando.

On one fateful day last week, General Hospital sealed the fate of four characters. The bombing at The Floating Rib led to the deaths of Dev and Dustin, put Lulu in a coma, and sent Julian on the run. Viewers are now wondering who will be the next character to leave the show and the majority believes it will be Peter August. Dante came back to Port Charles to get the goods on Anna's son/nephew but that has been sidelined in midst of the drama surrounding the other characters. Nothing has been said regarding Wes Ramsey leaving the ABC daytime drama, but the storyline seems to be dropping subtle hints.

Maxie keeps running into Brando and spoilers are already calling them "Braxie" although they could just as easily be known as "Mand0." Spoilers have teased that once Peter is dead or behind bars that Sonny's cousin will be the man who helps Maxie pick up the pieces. After all she will be a single mother of three and her best friend Lulu will no longer be there for her. There is also the fact that Kristina Wagoner has been absent for quite some time on General Hospital. Maxie and Mac could use Felica for moral support right now. She did not show up in the aftermath of the bombing of her husband's restaurant, so there is no guarantee Felicia will be there for the birth of her third grandchild.

Spinelli and Georgie's mom seem to be on good terms with each other, but this will change when he helps bring down Peter. Maxie might be quite angry with Damian for a while so she will need someone else to lean on. There is also the fact that he is married to Elly, so a reunion between Georgie's parents is more than likely out of the question. Mac who raised Maxie and her sister considers Sonny a thug and does not care for him. Should his stepdaughter hook up with Brando who is also working for Cyrus, the head PCPD detective might not like this very much.

It's still too early to try to figure all of this out, but fans are curious anyway. There are many layers to this story starting with Obrecht who is out of jail and pulling the strings in secret. Robert, Spinelli, and Jason know that Peter set her up but they need concrete evidence. Right now the focus is on Julian Jerome who could be long gone from Port Charles. On Thursday he got money and a vehicle from Martin Gray, who some viewers believe might be the brother of Cyrus Renault. Celeb Dirty Laundry says next week Julian will be in a race against time trying to get away from Sonny and Cyrus and that Jason will call Brick in on a situation.

CDL also says that Dante will listen intently to Anna in an attempt to glean information on Mr. August. It could be that the writers are going to tie all of these loose ends together and Julian's last days in Port Charles might lead to the beginning of the downfall of Peter. It's not clear how or why Maxie and Brando might grow closer but fans will be watching and waiting. Perhaps with the death of Dev, Brando is missing playing the role of a daddy. He might dive in headfirst to assist Maxie and her children when the time comes.

Be sure to tune in this week to General Hospital and find out what happens next in Port Charles. There is a lot of confusion right now with Sam contemplating leaving Jason, and Sam keeping Nina's grandson from her. Everyone seems to have secret doubts and conflicts but one thing is certain. One w or another Peter will be dealt with whether he dies, leaves Port Charles, or goes to jail. Viewers are saying on social media they do not see any way that this situation can work out for Mr. August and Maxie and that someone else will be raising his son or daughter. It might just be Brando Corbin so be paying attention to signs that he and Ms. Jones will be growing closer.
