Victor is responsible for Anna's arrest

Will Victor get revenge from beyond the grave?

Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will be wreaking havoc on his enemies from beyond the grave this week on General Hospital and one in particular, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will be stunned at how she receives payback. Spoiler alerts from Celeb Dirty Laundry and Soap Dirt reveal that the will reading is going to take place and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will facilitate the event. What's not known is if there will be a document read by an attorney or if Victor will torment the good citizens of Port Charles via a video.

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves) said last week that nothing good would come from this will reading and he was correct. General Hospital fans are now wondering what is in store for Port Charles and how much longer the specter of the Cassadine patriarch will linger. in addition to Anna, Spencer, and Laura several other Port Charles residents received invitations including Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Alexis Davis (Nany Lee Grahn). Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stewart) was not shown receiving his invite but as the son of the madman, he surely will be on hand.

Spoilers have not revealed what is in store for the others but it seems Uncle Vic will have something special for Anna. On several occasions, Victor hinted that he knew something about Anna'spast but she did not pay any attention to his threats. it seems he was in possession of information about the former spy that he was holding onto and it was released after his death. It proves Anna did something she should not have done years ago while working for the WSB. Both spoilers say that she is going to be arrested, and facing charges.

Anna will pay for crossing Victor

This is going to be a shock for everyone, especially Anna and Valentin who might not be able to save her this time. It's possible that Ms. Devane is going to serve some time based on one simple truth. Prior to covid, Hughes took a scheduled break from General Hospital each year during the summer just like Genie Francis it was written into her contract. When Anna first went into hiding after being framed for shooting Lucy Coe ( Lynn Herring) fans asked if Hughes had gone on an extended leave and she said no.

The actor went on to explain that prior to Covid she had been taking a long summer vacation but now wanted to be on hand for taping and had not had a break in a long while. Perhaps now that the pandemic lockdowns are over Hughes is now back on schedule and her time being incarcerated will coincide with her break. This is only a projection and time will tell. Whatever happens, fans know that Valentin will do everything he can to ensure the woman he loves does not go to prison or if she does he will do everything in his power to help gain her freedom.

The duo has just returned from a long adventure of hiding and ducking and dodging Victor so they more than likely will not go on the run again.
