Brooke and Hope are targets

Terrible Tom has the upper hand

Friday on The Bold and the Beautiful Hope shoved Thomas off the catwalk and he fell into the vat of hydrochloric acid. Viewers could see Ridge and Taylor's son floating face up in the liquid. When Hope figured out what had taken place she ran back, using a flashlight, frantically searching for the man she almost married. She took Douglas to Brooke's and when the child went to bed, Hope told the entire sordid tale to her mother. She believes she sent the child's father to a horrific death, but spoiler alerts indicate this is not true.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals that Terrible Tom is alive and well and for now has the upper hand. There has been no explanation yet as to how Thomas escaped his fate as the acid should have instantly killed him. He may be disfigured unless some miracle occurred. It's possible that Zoe or Vinny is taking care of him, but his injuries would have him needing a hospital. Perhaps bu a stroke of luck the acid had been removed and Thomas did fall into water. However it happened, Thomas Forrester did not die, even though Brad Bell said there would be another death before November Sweeps.

Bell, the executive producer of The Bold and the Beautiful had stated back in April that the aftermath of the baby switch would have many twists and turns and would not be concluded until November Sweeps. There are only two more weeks in this month, so perhaps whatever Thomas has planned for Hope and Brooke will soon be over and done, and viewers can begin enjoying other storylines.

Thomas will gaslight Hope.

Celeb Dirty Laundry says this is the last straw for Hope and was her final opportunity to give Thomas a chance. He will now be on a rampage, seeking revenge on the woman he has loved for so long. It's not clear how he will stay out of sight, or how his absence will be explained by Hope to his family. This will be a thrilling mystery heading into November sweeps as Thomas gaslights Hope and gets even with Brooke.

Perhaps Terrible Tom will leave memento's as reminders of himself at Forrester Creations. Hope is already terrified as she thinks his body disintegrated in the acid. She will bear a lot of guilt, especially where Douglas is concerned. This could push her over the edge and right into a nervous breakdown. Whatever the reason Thomas, signed full custody of his son over to Hope has not yet been made clear.

Celebrating the Soaps suggests that Hope might crack and confess to her crime, which would land her in jail. If this happens she will surely lose custody of Douglas. She might even be charged with plotting to kill Thomas so she could raise the little boy without his father. Whatever Thomas is plotting as his revenge, is going to be really creepy and he will get the two Logan women in one swipe. There must be some type of plan for him to get Douglas back but that will more than likely be revealed as time goes on.

The Bold and the Beautiful will be preempted on Wednesday and Friday because of the impeachment hearings, and a few days again the following week. Be sure to be on the lookout for updated spoilers and watch your local listings regarding air time for this CBS daytime drama. This is a mystery that viewers are going to enjoy. Thomas lurking in the shadows, causing Hope to jump at every sound, will be pretty suspenseful. Brooke attempting to reconnect with Ridge while believing her daughter has murdered his son will be fun to watch for those who loathe Ms. Logan. Tune in weekday afternoons on CBS at 1:30 PM EST to keep up with all the action.
