Fans of The Young and the Restless are showing themselves to be pretty restless where Rey Rosales is concerned, On social media platforms, those who watch the CBS daytime drama are expressing themselves regarding Sharon's husband. The overall consensus seems to be that Paul's protegee needs a refresher course to sharpen his skills. Spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry reveal that on Tuesday, Rey is going to grill Chelsea. This is because Sharon is insisting to him that Ms. Lawson is faking her medical condition.

In the comment section after the article, a number of Y&R fans were brutally honest in their opinion of Detective Rosales. A viewer named Star said the following: " Rey is not a good detective and certainly has no faith in his wife's love, decisions, and judgment. I Like him less and less. He only sees what he wants to see which is that Adam is guilty. Adam is not responsible for Chelsea's medical problems."

The above quote in the spoiler ad is from Glamma 2020 who makes an excellent point. She was responding to someone posting as a guest who said: "Let's see if Rey can redeem himself as a detective by busting Chelsea's lies wide open? What do you think?" In real time no police detective would be investigating his own case. You would think that The Young and the Restless would at least bring Doug Davidson back and utilize Paul to make this more believable but they not. This is a sore spot with many viewers who love Davidson and want to see him back on the show.

Not long ago, however, the actor said that he did not like being treated as a day player and some fans believe he is done with the CBS daytime drama. Others are hoping that he will return and give Rey the assistance he needs. Rey mentioned Paul last week but no one has seen him in quite a while. Perhaps the veteran cop can give Rey the help he needs. A Y&R fan named Red Cupcake had the following to say on the subject. "Rey needs a lot more training in order to be considered a good believable cop I agree that he only see what he wants to see and that is Adam is guilty of everything and he is letting his hatred of Adam cloud his judgment."

Cali made the following statement about the situation."Sorry to say this but Rey is not a good cop, Paul was, and I think Victor will know she is lying and his son won't take her blame cause he didn't poison Rey you seen it and we all seen it, what Rey could've done was found out about the thallium instead of pointing those fingers at the wrong person and find out through his computer at work, he didn't do that and this is what I think!"

The writers for The Young and the Restless should take note that viewers are not buying this current storyline and the way Rey is handling things as a detective. A superior should have removed him from the case by now. Fans in Facebook groups are also disgruntled with the way this storyline is going and cannot wait for Chelsea to be trapped in her web of deception. Most fans want to see Pau return but several have voiced that they don't believe he would do any better than Rey at figuring things out. Stay tuned to find out what happens next and if Detective Rosales will finally see the light.
