Did Phyllis give a clue about how she will beat the murder charges?

Fans of The Young and the Restless have suspected all along that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) would not serve time for the murder of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) but no one came up with an idea of how she would do it until now. Soaps.com has suggested a brilliant scenario that just might be what actually happens but some viewers believe "Red" should pay for her crimes even if taking a life is not one of them. Soaps.com also suggests that with a good lawyer, she might beat all of it which will anger those in Genoa City as well as some who watch the CBS soap.

The Young and the Restless fans are split on this as some don't like how Phyllis continues to blame Diane for everything while others think Diane is the reason all of this happened and she deserves to be punished. By the way Y&R viewers as a side note did you see Susan chatting with he real-life husband at the bar on Friday? That's right Liden Ashby who portrays bad boy Cameron Kirsten and Walters have been married since 1986 and recently celebrated their 37th anniversary.

Back to Phyllis she recently told Summer that she blacked out and does not recall actually killing Stark so this adds a new wrinkle to the plot as it thickens. Soaps.com suggests this is the loophole viewers have suspected was coming which will lead to Phyllis going free. She also said she needed to find Carson (Walter Belenky) the EMT who was the ambulance driver but it's not clear how she believes he could help her without incriminating himself.

Is Carson the key to setting Phyllis free?

Spoilers for The Young and the Restless stated a few weeks ago that the ambulance driver would return but it was assumed it would be to reveal that Phyllis was still alive and had plotted with Stark. Soaps She Knows suggests that Carson murdered Jeremy but what would be his motive? It would have to be what else M-O-N-E-Y. Stark had to have paid Carson off and perhaps like most accomplices to a crime he got greedy.

The EMT may have shown up at the motel to demand a bigger payoff but Stark refused and he killed him. This would not explain why Phyllis had her husband's blood all over her face and body. She also moved the dead body which is tampering with evidence and she did fake her own murder. If Phyllis walks free from all charges Christine Williams (Laura Lee Bell) and Diane, and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be beside themselves with anger. Kyle Abbott will also be upset along with his recent shock at finding out that Summer Abbott (Allison Lanier).

Keep in mind this is all projection but it does sound like a way to keep Stafford on the screen without her wearing an orange jumpsuit. However, this turns out fans are saying they are tired of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Phyllis never cutting Diane a break. Their constant whining is getting on the nerves of the viewers and it does not seem like it will stop anytime soon. Ashley has already told Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) that she is going to stop Diane from taking over the family and Jabot, once she marries Jack, and Nikki and Phyllis are also still spewing their venom. Be sure to tune in to The Young and the Restless next week and see how this all plays out.
