Is Cameron Kristen seeking revenge on Sharon?

Cameron Kristen (Linden Ashby) may not be a name that some fans of The Young and the Restless are familiar but he had a relationship with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) who believed she caused his death with a Champagne bottle 20 years ago. Although Sharon's memory was not jogged by the gift of bubbly spoilers like Soaps She Knows have figured it out based on something that happened 2 decades ago.

In 2003, Sharon Newman did the only thing she could think of after locking lips with father-in-law Victor: She left Genoa City. But as she was regrouping in Denver, had the misthe eye of businessman Cameron Kirsten, who got her drunk, took advantage of her and then beat her to a pulp.

Last week fans of The Young and the Restless were naming former characters who might possibly be seeking revenge against Sharon but Kristen was not one of them. After being abused Sharon returned to Genoa City from Denver and Kristen followed her. The above-highlighted link has the details on the Soaps She Knows sight and there are plenty.

The bottom line is that Kristen survived his bump on the head from the champagne bottle and continued to harass Sharon until he finally went to jail. Why would this character resurface after all of this time assuming that it is Cameron who is tormenting Sharon? Perhaps he has a disgruntled wife or girlfriend whom he told what had happened and now they are seeking revenge.

Linden Ashby

Is Cameron tormenting Sharon or is it another?

The Young and the Restless has been bringing back former cast as blasts from the past in observation of the 50-year anniversary and it's possible that Kristen is one of them. The actor and director was born Clarence Linden Garnett Ashby III on May 23, 1960). His first role on television was n 1985, on the ABC soap opera Loving, where he was a recast in the role of Curtis. He is also known for his television, role as Brett Cooper on the final two seasons of the Fox series Melrose Place (1997–1999).

Ashby also portrayed Sheriff Noah Stilinski on all six seasons of the MTV drama Teen Wolf (2011–2017). In 1995 he played Johnny Cage in the film Mortal Kombat, Alden and was cast as Lance Reventlow, the only son of Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton ( Farrah Fawcett) in the Golden Globe-winning miniseries Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story.

If you are old enough to remember the saga of Sharon and Cameron Kristen or you read the details and saw the images in the above link or read about it somewhere else online you have probably realized the similarity to the current situation with Phyllis Summers ( Michelle Stafford). Phyllis murdered Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), wrapped his body in a sheet, and disposed of it.

The truth will prevail

The only variation is that Mrs. Rosales had help while "Red" did the deed all alone. Perhaps fans were supposed to draw from the similarities and make the connection but no one did until now. Is The Young and the Restless leaving subtle hints about the identity of the stalker or are they sending viewers a red herring?

Spoilers have teased that this will be a big storyline for Sharon who will eventually be pretty rattled as her stalker shows him or herself to be bolder. In time, it should be absolutely obvious who the tormentor is and why but along the way fans of The Young and the Restless will have fun attempting to figure it all out. Be on the lookout for updates related to the individual who is stalking Sharon and whether or not it will be Cameron Kristen.
