The action seems to be picking up on The Young and the Restless after a few weeks of things being pretty predictable. Here are the spoiler alerts from Soaps.com for The Young and the Restless for the week of September 7-11 and 14-18. On Monday, Lola is going to notice a different side of Theo. Perhaps he continues to show himself kind and gentle where she is concerned or she might catch a glimpse of his ruthlessness. Lola also might take notice that Theo has a thing for Victoria who will hide a secret from her ex-husband. She may choose not to reveal that she has been flirting with his nephew (through marriage) or it could be related to Newman Enterprises. Meanwhile Adam will coninue his downward spiral.

Tuesday, on Y&R Sharon will receive an update regarding her health Devon is going to let his guard down with Ms. Sinclair and Chance will take a risk where Adam is concerned. On Wednesday, Billy and Lily will be working together on some type of strategy, Phyllis will take control of a situation, and Chelsea will be pushed into a corner, more than likely regarding Adam. On Thursday. Nikki and Victoria will have a disagreement because of Adam, Noah returns and Nick will be shocked by his sister's Newman power move. Chelsea wants answers about Sharon and Adam’s connection. On Friday, Chance confesses something to Abby and Billy seeks reve.nge.

During the following week, Sharon gers news that her cancer has returned, Victor tries to help Adam who is dealing with hearing a shocking announcement. The Newman patriarch's attempts to help his son are going to back fire, Lola plays hard to get with Theo and Devon accepts his past. Chelsea will give Sharon a warning and Nate comforts Amanda when she finds out her connection to Hilary. Billy will need an ally against Adam and Nick will be grilled by Phyllis. Soaps.com also is giving some preciews for what will happen later in the fall.

Kevin and Chloe's baby is abotu to be born and there will be a lot of drama surrounding the birth. Victoria atteof her father's shadowmpts to make a name for herself outside of Victor's shadow and the return of Sharon's breast cancer will present a lot of challenges. There will be problems in the romances of Devon and Elena, Mariah and Tessa, Theo and Lola, Kyle and Summer, and Nate and Amanda. The Abbott family will be attempting to bring Dina some happiness before she passes away and Adam's past will cause him to rethink his current situation as well as his future in the Newman family. Sharon will insist she is the only one at this point who can help Adam and perhaps when her cancer returns he can repay the favor.

Chelsea will be desperate to hold on o Adam who she feels is slipping away. Her cause is not helped when Nikki all but tells her that the relationship is doomed. Victoria and Theo flirted this past week and it's not certain where this is going but it could be the beginning of a hot new couple. Spoilers have already projected that Sharon will hook up with Adam and Chelsea and Nick will turn to each other. Since Amanda and Nate not sure who they truly care for things in Genoa City will be pretty confusing. Throw in Theo having Lola and Victoria on his radar and the next few weeks will be pretty interesting. There is still no news regarding Paul, Christine, Lauren and Michael.
