More drama coming for Jack,Victor and their loved ones

Soaps She Knows obtains spoiler alerts from the CBS studio and the information they report is reliable and does not change. Here is what will happen on "The Young and the Restless" during the next few weeks.

Celebration and chaos for the Newmans

Newman Enterprises’ will host a 50th anniversary gala, which will take center stage when Victor is honored. This happens to coincide with Eric Braeden celebrating 40 years on the show. Whenever there has been a black tie event on "Y&R" in the past, something unexpected always takes place. The most recent crisis was when Zoe spiked the drinks during the opening of the Grand Phoenix Hotel. During the New Year's Eve gathering, Nick walked away from Chelsea and told her to reunite with his brother. This affair will be no different. Viewers should prepare themselves for extreme drama to take place. Victor will no doubt feel triumphant about his half century in business, but something will happen that will spoil his big day.

Nick and Phyllis grow closer

Adam and Nick will be competing with each other again due to a business venture that is going to affect the Newman family and the chemistry between Phyllis and Nick will continue to heat up. Last week, Phyllis admitted to Nick that she was never really interested in Chance, so he knows that she is available. Spoilers say a secret is going to place Ms. Summers in a position of power in coming weeks. She already knows that Sharon is sick, so perhaps she finds out that her rival has breast cancer. There is also the possibility that Phyllis learns something totally unrelated. Whatever it is, "Y&R" fans know that the fiery redhead is going to milk it for all it is worth.

Paul is back and Jill tries to control Billy

Jill returns to Genoa City with plans to keep her son in line. She will offer him a new project that also will benefit her as well. She has her work cut out for herself because Billy is dealing with a number of issues and is determined to live life on his own terms. Jill has always been team Villy and will not like hearing that Victoria and her son have broken up yet again. Fans of Doug Davidson will be glad to know that Paul will be on hand to take control when a crime affects all the wheelers and dealers in Genoa City. Viewers have been expressing their displeasure over the fact that the popular actor has not been getting a lot of screen time and now it seems he is about to. The case he is working on could have something to do with whatever happens with the Newmans.

Mariah need a break

Mariah will continue to struggle without Tessa by her side and their relationship will become even more strained. Now that Cait Fairbanks is on recurring status, many "Y&R" viewers believe her character will ride off into the sunset with ex husband Tanner Watts. Mariah seems to be getting chummy with the new bartender she keeps talking to so it looks like this may be the end of Messa. Ms. Copeland definitely needs someone or something to keep her busy because she is butting into everyone else's business. She tried to warn Summer away from Kyle, and told Theo to stay away from Lola. She even went so far as to lecture Lola when she said she liked Theo.

Trouble brewing for the Abbotts

Traci returns home just in time for a family crisis. Spoilers say the family will unite over the trouble that comes their way, but will experience conflict when they are divided regarding another issue. The crisis that brings everyone together may have something to do with Dina and the issue that has them taking sides could possibly have something to do with Kyle, Lola, Theo, and Summer. Ms. Mergeron has not been seen since she sang Oh Come All Ye Faithful with her family at Christmas. Her Alzheimer's disease may have taken a turn for the worse and the entire Abbott clan rallies around her. It's also possible that the problem headed towards the family may have nothing at all to do with Dina and the issue that causes everyone to go to separate corners might be unrelated to Kyle and Theo.

Sharon in the spotlight and Devon still in limbo

Last week there was an entire episode dedicated to Sharon and her battle with breast cancer. Spoilers indicate that Rey will be trying to figure out how to support her while also not hovering and allowing Sharon her space. Devon and Elena will have some screen time but nothing has been mentioned about Colin and Katherine Chancellor's billions. This is one storyline that viewers really want wrapped up. In spite of this delay in justice for Devon, it sounds like 'The Young and the Restless" will be must see TV during the next few weeks. Be sure to tune in each weekday afternoon on CBS at 12:30 PM EST.
