The Young and the Restless rumors: Abby is gone from Genoa City but she should return

The above photo speaks volumes and should dispell the misinformation that is being circdulated regarding The Young and the restless. Having said that lets get to the matter at hand. Clickbait is when you title a story in such a way that a lot of people will read it but the information does not match up with what was advertised. Right now there are growing headlines for articles and videos that are suggesting that Melissa Ordway is leaving The Young and the Restless. Anything is possible but based on the storyline her character Abby Newman has left Genoa City to search for her missing and presumed dead husband Chance Chancellor.

The Young and the Restless news: Abby is front and center

Abby is front and center right now and her storyline is just heating up. She has her new baby and the role of her husband Chance has just been recast. Conner Floyd has been hired and will soon show up and prove that Phillip Chancellor is alive and possibly well. In order to make money online from articles, you must have people clicking on them. Dramatic headlines are always interesting but flat-out lies only lead soap fans to become distrustful. There is currently one soap spoiler that a number of soap fans do not trust. Things have gotten so bad that the creators of numerous Facebook groups have warned members to not share anything from this spoiler on their page because they do not believe any of the articles.

When something is listed as a projection or "wild speculation" the reader understands going into the article that it is not based on anything credible but only a possibility. When an article has a straightforward headline or says it is a spoiler and what it covers is not true this turns readers off and that's why the aforementioned spoiler is now labeled as a fake news site.

The story about Melissa Ordway is all over the Internet but there is no reason to believe it is true. A few weeks back an image posted by Ameilia Heinle showed a sign in the background that was welcoming Chance home. Unless the writers scrapped this fans should be confident that Abby's husband will return to Genoa City. When you put this with the fact that Conner Floyd has been hired this seems to indicate that Abby and Chance will renuite. In all likelyhood Melissa Ordway is staying put on the CBS soap.

Melissa Ordway could like any othe actor decide to leave her soap but this particular story is nothing but hype and a play on words to gain readers. It is becoming more and more difficult to know what is real and what is not. The current spoilers for The Young and the Restless suggest that Abby willl encounter a woman named Kim Dunaway (Roxanne Hart) who will be instrumental in leading her to her husband. Abby Newman left Genoa City but there is no reason to believe that Melissa Ordway is walking away from Y&R.

The Young and the Restless: Fans don't like fake news

Sometimes reputable sites use clickbate, and wild speculation. This is perhaps because at the time they do not have other more credible news to fill the space on their webiste and this is not fair to soap fans who help perpetuate the fake news by sharing it. There are times when there is no breaking news but this is no reason to mislead soap fans by printing fake news as if it were true.

The good news is that a growing number of fans of The Young and the Restless have been commenting on the stories and videos regarding Abby Newman not retunring to Genoa City. They are calling it fake news and see it for what it really is. If Abby and Chance are not going to reunite then where did the cover photo of Melissa Ordway and Conner Flynn come from?
