An Abbott family Christmas

The impeachment proceedings along with modern technology have both had a long range effect on The Young and the Restless. In days gone by, viewers tuned in to watch each episode on a daily basis. Now you can watch video’s of the coming day’s program on the preceding night. The programs are now running two days behind but spoiler alerts have not yet caught up. For this reason spoilers may announce one thing, while the day ahead preview may not be shown until two days later. On Thursday night December 26th, the video that was offered to viewers for the next day was of the entire episode being dedicated to the late Kristoff St. John. Because of the two day delay this will more than likely air on Monday December 30th.

Celeb Dirty Laundry and Soaps She Knows both stated the viewers would see Victor and Nikki find a baby girl on their doorstep on Friday. The spoilers said this would be the Newman Christmas miracle and “Nictor” will be searching for a home for the abandoned child. Since the episode honoring Neil Winters has already been online it will more than likely be the next one to air.The Newman Christmas Day episode will probably follow the next time the CBS daytime drama airs, which should be Tuesday. Keep in mind there may be more preemptions because of New Years Day sports events.

What viewers actually saw on Friday was the entire episode dedicated to the Abbott family Christmas Eve celebration. John Abbott’s family gathered at Society, along with Michael, Lauren, and Fenmore Baldwin. Jack, Abby, Kyle, Lola, Billy, Traci, and Ashley were all on hand. Thro said he had other plans, but last week , Summer was spot on when she told him that he would not attend because he did not want to see Kyle and Lola together. At one point Lola asked her husband to have compassion on his cousin who was spending the day alone.

During the Abbott get together, everyone got along and it was a very happy scenario. Later, Traci gave everyone a signed copy of her new book just before they all began dispersing. Lauren, Fenmore, and Michael did a lot of hugging and saying “ I love you “ to each other as they were heading to their vehicle. Kyle and Lola got comfy at home, and Billy sat in his house sulking and thinking about his life. He is supposed to get on a plane to be with Victoria and the children, but keeps thinking about Amanda.

Back with the Abbott’s, Dina came out when only her three children and her granddaughter were left. She was e cited to find she had gifts under the tree but her biggest surprise was yet to come. Traci began singing O Come all Ye Faithful and when she hot near the end of the second verse, Dina began singing along with her. She had a big smile on her face and was waving her hands as if she were directing a choir. Jack, Ashley, and Abby joined in to finish the Christmas carol. It was truly a touching, tear jerker moment.

Be sure to tune in Monday to find out which episode of The Young and the Restless will air. Viewers may see Victor and Nikki enjoying Christmas and finding the baby girl on their doorstep. There is also the possibility that the episode honoring Kristofg Dt. John might be what takes place first next week. Continue watching for spoiler alerts and updates and perhaps at some point everything will be caught up. Some exciting things are about to happen in Genoa City, so make sure you don’t miss any of it.
