'The Young and the Restless' Mark Grossman and Sharon Case in real-life romance

Soaps She Knows recently revealed that two of the cast of The Young and the Restless have announced some pretty amazing news. Mark Grossman and Sharon Case who portray Adam Newman and Sharon Newman have gone public with the fact that they are dating offscreen. The spoiler says when Grossman first came to the CBS daytime drama he did a screen test with Case and the chemistry was undeniable. It's possible that art will now imitate life and that Sharon and Adam will end up together in Genoa City. There are a lot of fans who were disappointed when Adam first came back to town and he and Sharon did not renew their relationship.

When Victor sent her to talk to his amnesiac son in Vegas, many viewers believed the two would fall in love again. Several spoilers even teased they would reunite but they only had a one- night hookup. Fans of this couple may now have a reason to keep hope alive. Spoiler alerts for The Young and the Restless from Soap Dirt indicate that several of the Newman family will be front and center when new episodes appear. The CBS sudser is supposed to resume taping on Monday, July 6 and a set insider has allegedly given a few details of what fans can initially expect.

It is being projected that the new episodes may not be shown until September and that Victor Newman will not be seen because Eric Braeden is over age 65. Three members of the Genoa City family, however, will be front and center. There will be a triangle with Nick and Adam surrounding Sharon. Fans have been wondering when the prodigal son would find out his ex is dealing with breast cancer and spoilers say it will be soon after new episodes are back on the air. Prior to the hiatus, Adam had just found out from Victor that he is the one who murdered AJ Malvo. Chelsea believes it may be true and was trying to help him keep an open mind.

Adam refuses to accept that as an 11- year- old he murdered a man, even if it was to protect his mother. Now, in the midst of this situation, he finds out that Sharon has cancer. Earlier spoilers said that Victor's youngest son would be dealing with something and need Chelsea to help him through it. Both of these revelations will possibly send him over the edge, Chelsea will have to see him through it. Soap Dirt indicates that Nick will be angry at his brother and not want him anywhere near Sharon and this is where some conflict will ensue. Prior to The Young and the Restless shutting down Soap Dirt teased Rey may leave town and that Nick might get back with Chelsea. Both of these possibilities hinge on Adam growing closer to Sharon.

If Sharon begins leaning on Adam, both Nick and Rey will be angry about it. This might lead to Adam and Sharon to hook up again, which could result in Rey leaving Genoa City and Chelsea and Nick growing close again. Viewers do not like these love trianlges where couples go back and forth, breaking up, breaking hearts, and making up. It would be nice if during the time off the writers came up with something original, instead of the same old storylines and give loyal fans something new and different to look forward too. Nothing was said regarding whether Sharon will beat cancer but most fans believe she will.

Sharon Case is a popular actress on The Young and the Restless and there has been no indication that she is going to leave the CBS daytime drama. Now that she and Mark Grossman are dating, it would seem only fitting to put them together on screen. Soaps.com says the couple has been posting numerous photo's on Instagram of the two of them together. Considering this it would be great for them to be an on-screen couple as well. Sharon has been involved in one way or another with Adam, even when Justin Hartley and Michael Muhney each had the role. There are who lost hope in Chaddam when Chelsea returned to genoa City remarried, then treated Adam so badly and turned to Nick.
