Nick Newman and Billy Abbott have joined the many fans of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS who believe Ashland Locke is up to something. In spite of the fact that he is obtaining treatment, coughs, faints, and grabs his stomach in pain some people believe he is faking. Unless something has changed on the CBS soap, Ricard Burgi was supposed to only be around until the summer which is almost over.

If those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS take the storyline at face value then Ashland's treatment will not work and he will die. He has already given Kyle the right to raise Harrison in Italy so it looks like a clean wrap up . Not everyone shares this viewpoint and soon Billy and Nick will begin digging into the past of The Lockeness monster. Last week there was a rumor floating around that implied that Ashland might have pretended to be dying in the past. If true then Billy or Nick will uncover the facts and Locke will be busted.

There really has not been any indication from the storyline that Asland is pulling a fast one or has done this before. A few spoilers and some viewers believe still that this to is true, Most of those who think Locke is up to something don't believe he has forgiven Victor for almost allowing him to die. It is believed that he is using Victoria in order to obtain revenge on her father.

Billy and Nick both have Vicki's best interests at heart and don't want to see her hurt. Nikolas is a ocncerned brother but Billy Boy is an ex-husband who currently has a girlfriend. Spoilers indicate that Lily is beginning to become annoyed at how muc space Victoria takes up in Billy's life. The connection between the two is still pretty strong and whatever happens to Ashland may lead to a Villy reunion.

Should Locke recover, there is no one who believes the marriage to Victoria will last. Once she is done with him she will no doubt cry on her ex-husband's shoulder. If Ashland dies Billy will feel the need to help his former wife grieve and if the sickness has been a scam Vicki will need her children's father to help her pick up the pieces.

Fans of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS have been saying on social media that they believe Lily to be a saint. She continues trying to understand the bond between Villy and also is helping to raise their children.Whatever happens with Ashland is going to affect Lily and there is no guarantee she will come out of this with her relationship to Billy intact.

Victor will soon be attempting to get Victoria and Adam to bury the hatchett and become friends as Adam and Nick are doing. Vicki does not care for her younger sibling and she especially hates her father interfering in her life. It's not clear yet whether Victor will encourage Nick to dig up dirt on Ashland or if Nickolas will be doing this on his own.

Should Ashland be proven a fraud by Nick, Victoria will probably assume her dad was behind the search into his past and this might drive a wedge between them which is nothing new. If Billy uncovers some damaging facts about the Lockness Monster Vicki will initially be angry but eventually will appreciate what he has uncovered. Is Ashland going to recover or is he about to die? Could it be that he only scamming everyone? Will Billy and or Nick find damning evidence and stop Victoria from marrying him? Will tey it pay dirt or only get their and dirty? Stay tuned and find out.
