'The Bold and the Beautiful' Viewers overwhelmingly want Ridge to dump Shauna

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful have been using social media to discuss the marriage between Eric Forrester's son and his wife's best friend. The overwhelming sentiment is that Shauna must go. It's not so much that those who enjoy the CBS daytime drama are Brooke fan but simply do not like a schemer. A small portion of those who voiced their opinions in Facebook groups thought Ms. Fulton was a better choice for Ridge, and some believe he and Ms. Logan are destined to be together. The majority, however, just do not want to see Quinn's meddling work in her favor.

Shauna set her sights on Ridge from day one and began flirting with him. She even slept in a bed next to him one night while he was drunk. When Quinn began pushing her bestie at her son in law, Shauna initially said she did not want to be a rebound from Brooke. She even left town with the intention of never returning but came back after Quinn told her Ridge and Brooke had separated.

When Brooke found out that Ridge and Flo's mom had kissed she barged into Eric's home and told him to send his wife and her best friend back to the Los Vegas dessert. She even referred to them as "trailer trash." From that moment Quinn was determined to get even and has done everything she can to destroy "Bridge." She has ignored her husband's warnings that Ridge and Brooke always find their way back to each other. Those who enjoy The Bold and the Beautiful also know how this set up always works out. Brooke has been going between Bill and Ridge for years.

Fans who want Shauna to be run out of town may eventually get their wish. In time Eric and Ridge will find out about all the double dealing that Quinn nad her friend have been up to. Brooke might just get her wish because without the Forrester men, the mothers of Wyatt and Flo really do not have any connections that would keep them around long term. It had looked for a while like Quinn had changed but it's obvious now that she has not. There is no telling how long The Bold and the Beautiful will allow this to continue, as spoilers say Ridge will attempt to make his marriage work.

One thing that has not been made clear is whether Shauna is truly in love with Ridge or simply has a schoolgirl crush on his image. From day one she has gone on and one about "the great Ridge Forrester", his fame and notoriety. She talks about him as if he is a celebrity and never fails to mention how many women run up to him in public. She even shared with Quinn how many people in Vegas recognized the king of the fashion empire. If Shauna is only interested in his money and status, this will be revealed soon enough.

In the meantime, fans will continue to express their outrage on social media, hoping the powers that be will heed their voices. Neither Brooke nor Shauna is well-liked and now a number of fans are angry at Ridge, calling him gullible and stupid. Some viewers even said he deserved exactly what he got.
