The Bold and the Beautiful: Just the facts

Those who watch The Bold and the Beautiful love to hate Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). She did the unthinkable when she shot Steffy Forrester ( Jackie Wood) and murdered John Finnegan (Tyler Novlan). Many B&B viewers expect Sheila to get away with the shootings and if she does it will not be the result of finding out her son is still alive. Steffy’s actions leading up to the encounter in the alley will be her mother-in-law’s saving grace.

Even if you consider yourself the biggest fan of Steffy, her portrayer, and or Sinn the facts are all that will matter in a court of law. From the time Nurse Carter returned to the world of the Forresters, Logan’s, and Spencer’s, her son’s mother has been gunning for her. From day one Steffy was nasty and volatile where Sheila was concerned. She yelled at her and made threats and unreasonable demands and would not allow her spouse to make his own decision where his birth mom was concerned. Some fans expressed concern that Sheila would be pushed too far and it happened.

Steffy at her worst

Steffy shouted at Sheila in front of others, refused to allow her access to her grandson, and even slapped her. Everyone knows Brown's character is bad news and also a psychopath so Steffy should have used some caution. She knew Finn’s mom had shot her own mother Taylor Hayes but she just kept pushing and suspecting urge worst and she got it. Sheila actually attempted to play nice a few times but Steffy would not compromise. Meeting alone with Sheila in the alley was not a smart move.

Steffy was harassing Sheila and saying some harsh things to her during their encounter. She just would not shut up and her mother-in-law finally snapped. Now that Finn is alive his mother will not be charged with murder and a good lawyer could get her off on the charge of attempted murder. Sheila is telling the truth that she did not intend to use her gun but she felt threatened. She just kept coming at her saying the most horrible hinge even if some of them were true.

No one goes to a dark alley alone at night is o confront a psychopath but Steffy did. Sheila will claim self-defense and say Finn got in the way. Unless Brad Bell and his writing team flip the familiar script B&B fans predictions about the outcome will be accurate. Sheila will beat the charges and be free to do more damage.

Could Li be as dangerous as Sheila?

In the meantime, Steffy is leaving town to process her grief because Wood just gave birth to her third son. Some fans believe that by the time Steffy realizes her husband is alive she will already have begun a relationship yet again with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). This situation will be on hold until Wood returns to The Bold and the Beautiful and viewers will be trying to sort it all out.

Steffy leaving town will not change the issues that await her return when she comes home. She actually will be dealing with far worse. A trial that results in Sheila being set free and eventually finding out Finn did not die will be a lot to handle. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) spirited Finn away from the hospital and is caring for him in a hotel room. When he does come around and the truth is revealed Steffy will realize that neither of her husband’s mothers can be trusted.

Li made a comment recently about war being in Steffy’s world has cost Finn. Steffy’s world included Sheila who became obsessed with her son and grandson and led to the confrontation that resulted in the shooting. Even if you love Sinn and cannot wait for them to reunite you must realize that Steffy is responsible for the current situation. Stay tuned to The Bold and the Beautiful to find out what happens next.
