‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers say Ridge chooses Shauna

Spoiler alerts from Soap Dirt and Soaps.com indicate that this week, on The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge will choose Shauna over Brooke. Longtime viewers of this CBS daytime drama already know that based on history, "Bridge" will eventually reunite. In the meantime and in between time, fans must watch this twisted tale resolve itself. Quinn has been the mastermind behind the scam to take Ridge away from his "Logan" and encouraged Shauna even when she was not certain. Now, however, this dastardly duo believes they have gotten what they desire because Ridge married Ms. Fulton in Los Vegas.

Last week on The Bold and the Beautiful, "Bridge" reunited and their love for each other is clearly evident. As Ridge was sharing the good news with Eric and Quinn, Shauna showed up at the Forrester mansion and announced that she and Ridge were husband and wife. Ridge was obviously drunk when he said "I do," so under those circumstances it would seem the union could be annulled. Shauna knows deep down that the Forrester heir does not love her. He may try for a while and naturally, lust will be involved but can Ms. Fulton truly win his heart?

Everyone she has talked to except Quinn and Thomas has emphasized the great love between Brooke and Eric's son. Now Wyatt and Flo's mothers think that they have Ridge right where they want him but they have not considered the wrath of Brooke. Ms. Logan will be outraged at what has taken place and will no doubt accuse Shauna of foul play. She will also blame Quinn and rightfully so. In spite of her outrage, Ridge is going to ponder his feelings for Shauna and remain in the marriage.

Quinn and Shauna will be excited that they both have Forrester men. These two have talked in the past about growing up poor and now having a chance to live the good life. They will believe they have achieved their goal but eventually it will all turn to ruin. Ridge will never get Brooke out of his system. He may even feel guilty that he let his guard down and wound up in this situation. Both he and Eric will soon come to see that Shauna and Quinn are nothing more than scheming gold diggers.

Thomas will be ecstatic because he wants his stepmother to suffer for all the pain she has put him through and especially for causing him to lose Hope. Spoilers don't say what exactly Brooke is going to do but viewers know she will be out for blood. She could in time, turn back to Dollar Bill if Katie does not get back together with him, but there are no other men around for her to date. Ridge will do his best to make a go of his marriage but Eric will probably remind him that Brooke will always be his true love.

Shauna seems to think that by complimenting Ridge and satisfying him in bed she will eventually win his love. Ridge will probably become miserable and along with finding out that his wife sees him as some type of cash cow prize, this will dissolve any feelings he may have had for her. Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful have mixed feelings on this situation. Some are tired of Brooke and believe she deserves some pain. Others want to see Eric and Ridge kick Shauna and Quinn back to the dessert.

Be on the lookout for updates to this storyline and continue watching The Bold and the Beautiful weekday afternoons on CBS. It's looking like there may be a few catfights with fur flying all over the place. Perhaps this time the writers might even fool the viewers and allow Ridge and Shauna to remain together, forcing Brooke to find love elsewhere. Keep your eye open for the new normal which was very evident on Friday. The characters were much larger on the screen and you could easily tell when Ridge was kissing the dummy doll with the blonde hair. The mannequin was stiff and still but when the camera cut back to Brooke she was breathing and moving.
